The Legend of Lady Yu
Description
I wrote this story a long time ago (I think it was the summer of 2006). Since the story was originally in Chinese, I decided to rewrite it in English. Hope you guys like it. Please leave comments. thanks
Foreword
Here’s the basic introduction of the main characters:
Rainie Yang: an average 17 year old high school senior. On the most important day of her life, the day of her college entrance exam, she got into a car accident. When she woke up, she was no longer in 2009 and she had traveled one thousand years back to a warring dynasty.
Ariel Lin: Rainie’s best friend since childhood and the only familiar face to Rainie in a life time 1000 years before her own. But in a time of struggle for power and love, can they still be friends?
Mike He: the 4th son of the Zhou Dynasty. He is the favorite son of the Zhou Emperor because his birth mother was the Emperor’s favorite concubine. He was forced to be raised in the Queen’s quarter after the age of 10.
Joe Zhang: The 2nd son of the Zhou Emperor. On the outside he appears to be on good terms with Mike and they often team up against their old brother, the prince. However, he is secretively plotting for the throne.
Ethan Luan: The 3rd son of the Zhou Emperor. He is kinda stubborn and simple minded. Very loyal to his brother Joe even thought they have different moms.
Vic Zhou: The oldest son of the Zhou Emperor. Thus he was named the Crown Price by default. Many officials are against him because of the many rumors surrounding his personal life. Let’s just say he is what we would call a “player” nowadays.
Aaron Yan: the youngest of the prices. He is the only son of the Zhou Emperor and the Queen. Many people believe he should be the legitimate heir to the throne.
Jiro Wang: Mike’s best friend; a second rank general. His family has been in charged of the Zhou army since the start of the dynasty. Jiro’s father is the current General of the Zhou army and one of the most influential people of this time.
Chun Wu: If Jiro’s father was the left hand of the Zhou dynasty than Chun is no doubt the right hand. His brilliant mind resolved many conflicts for the Emperor without even using 1 solider.
