Chapter 1: The type of ending I really wanted for them. No words are needed to explain anything else! Salute from a certain girl who wish everyone have a happy day! ^^

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: I am a complete er for the retelling of fairy tales, and this is no exception. Part of my heart was thoroughly displeased at Prince Jonghyun (in the I-want-to-chuck-things-at-his-face type of way), but I love that you did keep to the element of heartbreak that seemed more true of the original. I have to applaud the ability to express so much dialogue when you have a character that doesn't speak, but the charades is deliberate enough that it comes across clearly, which is impressive on its own!

I like to see the progression in Key's character, given the shift from isolation to wanting to try again. And while I started this , I didn't know who Hyunmin is (besides from The Boss), I still can't help but love his character. He walks a strange line between masculine and adorable, and I kind of want to hug him.

I loved the end, the hope that it instills in such a simple phrase. So lovely! There were a few typos throughout, concentrated at the first opening, but that's really the worst of the critique I have to offer. It was a very refreshing story to start off my day, completely adorable!

Chapter 1: Oh goodness. This was quite the intriguing take on the Little Mermaid tale indeed. I very much enjoyed reading about how you tailored it and yet still stayed true to bits and pieces of the fairy tale (Disney version mind you haha). But it all played out in a lovely way and despite the difficulty of writing a mute character, Key himself was very believable (that goes for Hyunmin as well). I wasn't aware that he'd be able to laugh without his voice but I'm down with it. haha ;) It was an interesting twist.

I really liked how you set up Key as the outcast and especially how you kept him hesitant and reluctant to try and reach out again. I will say that I got teary eyed a bit when he heard Hyunmin's playing the first time: music certainly has a way of touching us even if we don't want it to. That definitely struck home. And despite how fast things moved, the speed was believable overall. They almost seemed made for each other when I look back over it. *sigh* The music, teaching Key to play the instrument (grins like an infatuated little girl), and just their interactions in general were adorable. It was funny to read about how Key had to try several times for Hyunmin to get what he was talking about through his pantomime. Very much enjoyable.

And the ending was beautiful. I think you nailed it, despite being cheesy. ;) It was a lovely read and I truly had a good time going through it. I was a teensy bit confused near the very beginning with the QUESTION!!! about TIDES. >.> lol Other than that (and a few typos throughout) it was a wonderful tale. Thank you!
