[8:24pm. December 8, 2014]

There was an odd silence, particularly coming from a lit up room within one of SM's Idol practising area. It wasn't very often that this happened, always some sort of instruction or music playing; this time it was the practise room of TVXQ, one of the long standing idol groups from the early 2000's.

Inside, surrounded by both old and new posters of tours and albums, the same faces plastered over and over, were three people all sitting comfortably eating jjajangmyeon on the cool wooden floors. The first two were males, both easily recognisable as the owners of this particular room; Yunho and Changmin; the pop duo whom were on break from their tour T1ST0RY until they left for Taipei the next day, having completed their special shows in Seoul the day before.

However the other not so recognizable, a fairly short, but definitely pretty girl, sitting next to them completely focused on eating as much as she could before the two much bigger males beat her to it.

"Dizzy. You know you should calm down, there is enough food to go around." Changmin snickered, watching her eat with an almost vicious look in her eyes as she stared at the food, though he wasn't much better, eating his second bowl of the warm jjajangmyeon to fill his stomach and warm his body.

"Yah! Stop trying to distract me, I know you will eat all the food otherwise." Daelin snapped, scrunching up her nose in distaste. "I'm feeling so neglected you know. You always try and steal my food. I just want to be loved and given food." She huffed, scooting away from the 26 year old, and closer towards the silent leader who was watching on in amusement.

"You'll protect me Yunho-oppa? Right?" Daelin then said, turning to him holding her food close.

Watching how he barely reacted, save from the raising of his eyebrow and his grin widening at her antics, not in the least surprised by how this meal was going.

"Changmin-ah! Stop brainwashing Yunni, you'll ruin all the good people left you know. Now he doesn't even love me..." She pouted, staring at Changmin with blank eyes, hands moving to take another bite of the food that was slowly cooling in her hands, shoving in as much as she could.

"Saranghae Dizzy! Your oppa has to love you, because you know no one else will." He grinned cheekily, eyebrows wagging at her. Watching as she swallowed on her food at the statement, her gaze flicking back to the elder in horror.

"Yah!" Daelin exclaimed loudly, hitting her oppa lightly on the shoulder. "You're no prize either. All you're good at is singing." She grumbled, sitting back down in her normal spot. Changmin laughed, putting his now empty container back to the ground and hugging the small Korean woman around her shoulders fairly tightly, squeezing her like a brand new teddy bear.

"Forgive me little noona. Now onto why you are here, we've promised you a singing lesson." He apologized in a singsong voice, pushing away the dishes and food wrappers to one side, despite Dealin nearly not have finished her meal, scoffing it down with no abandon, a rush of excitement for the lesson with her mentors.

"Finally, we spent like an hour eating. But Yunho was good entertainment, he's got some badass moves for an ahjussi." Daelin commented teasingly, standing up and stretching her arms.

"Daelin." Yunho said with a playful glint in his eyes, also standing up to join her and Changmin.

"Yunho." Daelin mimicked, "you know you're a cool ahjussi. Better than that ajumma over there." she finished, doing an obnoxious series of hand wiggles towards Changmin.

"Chincha?" Changmin scoffed, feigning offence as he held his hand close to his heart.

"We'll never get to this lesson if you two don't quit messing around." Yunho chided them, giving them both a fairly pointed look, making them raise their hands.

"Right. Now the first thing we do is?" Changmin agreed, turing to his now student.

"Breath in and out."

"Good, now start with the scales. Just go straight to the higher scales and work down. We can focus on improving your vocal ranges later, and don't forget to practise. That's how you become great. Talent only takes you so far." Yunho instructed, repeating the same words that he did since he heard her ability to sing; moving to sit down on the abandoned couch in the corner of the room.

Daelin opened , eyes looking to the ceiling and fully concentrated, only to hear the sound of unexpected knocks. She jumped at what she thought was several miles in the air with a loud squeak that resembled a mouse, stumbling as she landed.

"What?" The confused and jumped teenager said heavily, clutching her stomach as she focused on breathing after letting out a breath she was unknowingly holding in.

The door clicked open, the faint sound of wind as the door opened revealing a balding man. Minwoo. he was standing, his features schooled into the mask of utter calmness, not betraying a single emotion.
"Jung Daelin. Kim Youngmin wants to see you in his office immediately. It's important."

That's all he said, gesturing for her to leave the two men she considered her brothers and face, well, what she thought was the scariest man yet. He was absolutely ruthless to his trainees, moving up standards and making it harder to be a trainee. Everyone was on edge particularly from Jessica being fired; unheard of that a member of such a popular group was being fired, especially as she'd been around for years.

'It was irrational.'

The teenager nodded, giving afraid and apologetic glances owards her oppas, whom just watched their faces darkening, but yet trying to encourage her to be brave. Her rational side tried hard to think it out, nothing but steam coming from her head, not even her head would allow her to think of any possibility.

Daelin wanted to ask what was wrong, if she did anything, though the words were stuck in , her courage out by the looming thought of this man. She hoped she could be confident, that she could be brave, but even she couldn't face the fact that this could mean anything right now. That this was a meeting of unpredictableness and not of certainty. How she wished for such certainty right now.

Because not even she could see the rainbow on the other side with him, Kim Youngmin, a devil reincarnated.
