I entered the school grounds and here I was, Tao clutching at my arms possessively and Chen doing his daily routine of countless mocking and teasing at Xiumin. And if these looks of mine could kill, damn I would kill these obvious girls and boys looking at me seductively in failure. God, am I that handsome to get this attention?

I sighed multiple times because I just caught Tao again glaring jealously at my so-called dragon fans. If only he knew that I am going to reach that extent if that happens to him.

I can't even believe I am a coward like I am. Afraid of confessing to the clutching panda eveyrday in my arms. Rejection is at hand.

I know that Tao has feelings for me. I just know it but what if these are just brotherly feelings? I am not that straight-forward as Chen (Though it looks like Iam). I am not a risk taker like Xiumin and also I am not that affectionate-looking like Tao. Urgh. Why Tao is doing this to me everyday?

I fought with my inner dragon sense internally until I heard Tao tugging my sleeves hard. I raised his eyebrow at him and- Is that a blush I see? It looks cute on him. Oh how I want to squish his cheeks and-Ignore Kris, focus. FOCUS.

"What's wrong Tao?" I asked

"Kris gege-Oh my God, the way you call me like that. Its so-so-Gege are you listening to me?"

I looked at Tao and saw a glint of sadness in his eyes. So he wants me to focus on him but I am already thinking of him just now? He sighed and told him to repeat what he said. Good thing he always do what I say.

"You should um.......Stop Xiumin hyung from killing Chen and vice versa." Tao said with a hint of nervousness

"What do you mean by-"

"YOU COME BACK HERE YOU TROLL AND BRING BACK MY BAOZI!" Xiumin screamed as Chen dashed past us.

I could hear Chen laughing at Xiumin and calling him the chubby baozi which made Xiumin ran fast. I ran my hands through my golden locks. Now I understand why Tao was so nervous. And I couldn't guess, those two will end up detention for running along the hallways on the second day.

I dragged Tao and brought him to his classroom so that we could be safe from the rampaging baozi and the escapee troll. He went on whining on me and even told me or commanded me to stop the two of them. Looks like Tao is concerned of their love-hate relationship. I shushed him down by patting his hair and giving him assuring words.

"They are going to fine." I assured him

"Are you sure, Kris gege?" Stop calling me that

"Yes, I am. Its not like you haven't seen those two fought worse during middle school right?"

"Yes, gege. But-"

"Don't you trust me, Tao?" I growled at him dangerously

He gulped and just nodded. I smiled at him again because he thought I became mad or angry but I hate that he doesn't trust me easily. After all, I am his childhood friend/bestfriend/current crush/future lover/future husband. What I am even saying?

I waved my hand at Tao and mouthed a 'see you later during breaks'. He smiled at me back with a slight tint of blush spreading on his cheeks and I turned around to enter my own classroom.
