CHILD OF DEATH

I didn’t ask for these feelings

I didn’t ask to be a child of the Death

I didn’t ask for this life I’m living

I didn’t ask for it so let me breath.

How does it feel to be with somebody?

Someone to care for, and someone to die for.

But I don’t need a friend, I don’t want anybody.

I don’t want to suffer loss anymore.

I cared for her with all my heart

Like a mother I call her, sweet and sound

She still left me alone, cold in the dark

She departed and left me wandering around.

I blamed him for this—he’s the reason for all of this

An oath was broken and he didn’t do anything

He did what others asked; he followed what others pleased

How about me? To my ears—I waited her voice to ring

I did everything to bring her back

I ran away from them; I ran away because of hatred

I wished for her to come back and cut me some slack

But she just told me goodbye, and away she fled.

And now I want to be worthy to his eyes

Even if I know that my own father won’t give me a chance

I did everything he wanted, but only ended up colder than ice

And in anger, I swing my blade in a dance.

I didn’t ask for these feelings

The monster of love made fun of my being

I didn’t choose the sea to be my anything

But seeing him with her seems so annoying.

How much longer do I have to deal with this life?

Even if I breathe I still feel so dead

Cold, alone, empty—I don’t feel like I’m alive

After all I’m the child of the Death, filling you with dread.

Has anybody read Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series and Heroes of Olympus Series? This poem is actually for my dear Nico di Angelo (the poem is written in his point of view) about everything about him. I was actually all over him and then Uncle Rick dropped the bomb that he was gay huhu My feels so broken. To those who haven't read the two series, those are both novels with Greek Mythology themes. As the title states, Nico di Angelo is the child of Hades. Haha XD

The first series (PJO) was in Percy Jackson's POV (the main character; the hero) and Nico appeared on the third book. You guys should definitely read those two series Yehet lol XD I'm spoiling. Enough said!
