It's been two days since I last saw Jiwon. I'd hate to admit it, but I kind of miss him. He's usually there to bother me when there's no one in the store, and he brings me amusement. Also, that smile... SLAP! 'What do you think you're doing Eunae?! Snap out of it. You're only thinking about that idiot because you need entertainment. Yeah, that's right. Because you're bored.' I probably looked dumb for slapping and thinking to myself, because halmeoni started laughing at me. The thing about me is that I don't think silently to myself, I have a tendency to act out my thoughts.   "You're shift is over for the night, Eunae-ah."   Oh I almost forgot. Halmeoni is closing early tonight because she's gonna go visit her daughter in Mokpo for the weekend. "Ah, ne. I almost forgot. I'll help you close up the store then."       After closing up the store for the night, and wishing halmeoni a great weekend I was off; back to my sanctuary. But before that I need to do some surviving activities since I won't be getting paid until halmeoni gets back from Mokpo.   Hiding myself in the dark, I waited for someone to walk by. If I'm lucky I'll make it away with a pile of money tonight, if not I'll have to starve a little. I waited and waited for at least an hour.   The cold was settling in, but I was far from cold. I couldn't feel it at all. Living without clothes and blankets for a long time helped me adapt to it. You can almost say that I'm like a vampire. But the truth is, I want to be warm. I miss the feeling, though I have long forgotten what that even feels like. Not even hot water can faze me. Just... What is it like to be warm?   I was taken out of my thoughts when I heard footsteps. 'Finally! I was falling asleep over here.' I waited for the man to walk pass by me before I followed him with light footsteps. I approached him slowly from the back until I was less that six inches away from him. Holding my breath, I cautiously reached my hand out his pocket.   "Where could they have gone?" The man said out loud. His sudden speech made me jump a little, but I soon recovered. I stealthily stalked him until I finally was able to feel his wallet. I smiled brightly as his wallet came into view. Once it was in my grasp completely I mentally cheered for myself.   I backed up and started to walk away. 'Time to slowly walk away~ Just keep walking, walking, walking~!' I sang my own little rendition of Dori's song from Finding Nemo. When I thought I was far enough I opened the wallet, and boy was it packed! I swear there was about $500 in this baby.   "That's a lot of money you got."   "I know! I couldn't be happier right now."   "Well, I'm sure that the man you took it from would be even happier if you gave him back his wallet so that he doesn't have to report you to the police."   I stopped dead in my track. This voice. No, it can't be. On instinct I began to run. I couldn't let him see me. Why? Because that was Kim Jiwon that I just stole from.    "Yah, stop!" He yelled.    Of course I ignored him. There's no way that I would stop now that I've come this far. Wait, why do I even care if he finds out? He's nothing to me anyways. Right?   "Yah!" As though time slowed to a stop, a felt myself being yanked backwards by the force of a strong hand grasped onto my arm.
