At the Kwon Household

Omma Kwon is preparing breakfast when Yoong got down. The latter still looks sleepy and is rubbing his eyes cutely when he greeted her mother. “Morning.”

“Morning my handsome son.” Omma Kwon smiled and prepared a plate for Yoong

“Where’s Appa?” he looked around and noticed that his father is nowhere in sight

“Maybe upstairs don’t worry he’ll come down later.” Omma Kwon smiled “Come on you eat now Yoong.” And handed Yoong his plate

“Thanks Mom.”

Mrs. Kwon is a plain housewife, a mother of four handsome boys. She is a very nice woman and an understanding mother. She used to be a nurse before but stopped working when she had Yul.

Yoong was busy eating his breakfast when his father got down. The old Kwon greeted his son and sat in front of him.

“Morning Appa.” He greeted

“Morning Yoong.”

“Honey here’s your coffee.” Omma Kwon handed her husband the coffee then she started serving him food.

“Thank you.” Mr. Kwon said and he started sipping his coffee

Mr. Kwon a retired General in the Military. He is a bit strict when it comes to rules in the house. He is also a perfectionist and doesn’t accept failures easily. 

“It’s almost 7am Yoong. Aren’t you gonna get late?” Mr. Kwon asked when Yoong was still dozing off while eating

“Huh?”

“Hurry up kiddo. You haven’t took a bath yet.”

“Let him eat his food first honey. Yoong just eat.” Mrs. Kwon said then smiled at her son

“Hmmm.” Yoong just nodded

While they were eating their telephone suddenly ring. Mr. Kwon looked at Yul as if saying ‘pick up the phone kid’. Yoong obliged and got up. He answered the phone and smile instantly.

“Hyung!” he greeted happily “Omma! Appa! It’s Yul hyung!” He then handed the phone to his father

Mr. Kwon then started talking to Yul. The old Kwon was all smiles while talking with his 3rd son. Kwon Yul one of Yoong’s hyung. Yul is staying on Hongkong at the meantime for his job. He works as a computer engineer. Yul is Yoong’s favorite brother.

“Okay Yul.” Mr. Kwon laughed “That is good to hear son. Okay talk to your mom first.” Mr. Kwon then handed the phone to Mrs. Kwon

“Yul-ah! This is omma!” Mrs. Kwon happily greeted “Yes.. Really? .. When? ..Okay? I’ll prepare for you.” Mrs. Kwon said and looked at Yoong “Your brother is coming home.” “Ah yes son. I told him already. Hehe. okay bye Yul! We miss you!.. okay I’ll give it to him.” Mrs. Kwon the gave the phone to the grinning Yoong

“YAH! HYUNG!!!”

“Dongsaeng!”

“Hyung! You’ll be back home?!!”

“Neh.”

“WHEN?”

“It’s a secret you’ll be surprised I’m at the front door already.” Yul laughed

“YAH! Hyung! Don’t forget to buy me presents! And my SHOE!”

“Alright kiddo! I gotta hang up now. see you real soon!”

“Bye hyung!”

“Bye.”

Yoong put the phone back and continued eating. “Omma I wonder what hyung brought me this time.” He smiled

“Yoong I remembered.” His father seriously said

“Neh?”

“The exams for the KMA when will that be?”

“It’s next month honey.” Mrs. Kwon answered for her son

“You must study so you’ll pass that exam alright? You can’t fail.. You’re the only chance we have Yoong.” Mr. Kwon seriously stated then sip his coffee. The atmosphere suddenly got heavy

“Yes appa.”

“Good.”
