“You must save Lady Sora, Lee” Hannya pleaded with much urgency in her voice. Byunghun rubbed the back of his nape and thought hard about what she had told him.

“There is one more item in which you must seek. But only you will know.” Yongqi’s words confused him. Only you will know?

Myungsoo arrived soon after and walked in to discover the phenomenon.  “Y-Yo… L.Joe…” Myungsoo closed the door and carefully stalked over to the younger hesitantly.

“Myungsoo, it’s okay. They’re just spirits” he nonchalantly said as if it was the most normal thing on earth.

“Hello, Kim. Welcome, it’s nice to meet you” Hannya spoke. Myungsoo yelped in surprise and pointed a shaky finger at the light.

“Y-you speak…?”

The light flickered with a small chuckle, “yes. I am Hannya. This is Yongqi. We have a mission for the both of you. Lee will specify the details later, we don’t have much time.”

The elder’s eyebrows knit together with curiosity, “much time…? What do you mean by ‘we don’t have much time’?”

The two lights have been dimming since their initial encounter with Byunghun and he noticed it as well.

“The two amulets we possess, Lee, are our souls. We are of the 4 souls and together we protect the sky.

You must protect her, Lee, you must save Lady Sora.”

That night Byunghun couldn’t sleep. He tossed and turned in his bed as those words echoed through his head.

That name… why does it sound so familiar…

Myungsoo on the other hand was having a bad dream. He was having a hard time believing all of this. Was this some kind of joke? Where’s the hidden camera?

Beads of sweat formed on his forehead as he twitched in his sleep. Moans and groans emerged from his throat.

“Myungsoo-ah…” a voice chimed. Where am I?

There’s so much mist… It’s hard to see past it.

“Myungsoo… over here, darling” the voice sang once more. I walked towards it but why does my body feel so restricted?

I realized that I’m walking into the Lake… but I can’t stop my body from doing so.

The light guided me to the end.

But as I reached the peak, I could only see the back of black shadow.

That morning Myungsoo woke up earlier than he ever did and decided to do some research about this. Something was fishy and he didn’t like how it was settling in.

He had pulled up his laptop and opened up a new word document and started to type up all the details he had received last night. His thick eyebrows met in the middle as he concentrated on every aspect of this sudden situation.

Byunghun had woken up from a rather puzzling sweet dream and made his way to the office at 10 in the morning. It was a Friday and the weekend was a day away. He remembered Hannya’s words; You must hurry before the night of the eclipse.

He cocked his head to the side as he picked up his desk calendar. “The next eclipse is said to be a lunar eclipse… It’s happening in about 4 weeks’ time…” he set the calendar down and raised the cup of coffee up to his lips to take a sip. At that moment, Myungsoo came in with a large rolled up poster board which Lee eyed.

“Yo,” Kim laid down his stuff before walking over to the dry eraser board and sticking something up. Lee came over and took a seat. “I did some research and found some stuff... on you know… uh… the situation with saving this “Lady Sora”.”

“Shoot”

Myungsoo grinned widely and got out a pointer and started his presentation.

“As Hannya and Yongqi mentioned, two more will soon decease. They are residents of the Republic of South Korea.”

“Jeon Jang Mi, 27, she lives in Busan and runs a flower shop. Her name means rose. I haven’t found out anything else about her, there’s not much information in our database about her.”

“Last but not least is Park Chae Won. She’s 24 this year, the youngest of the 4 souls. She has won many championships throughout her life. She was the youngest female fighter to win the grand prize at the Grand Festival.”

“It doesn’t look like she had much of a family background… it’s just her by herself. Her parents are deceased. She’s an only child.”

Byunghun nodded as the information soaked in.
