“Yo, check this out” Lee hollered from across the egg shell painted room to his partner, Kim tore his eyes away from his computer screen and stalked towards the brunette.

“What did you find out?” Kim spoke while scanning the files as his eyebrows knit together; he heard his partner recite every piece of information he’s found out about the two victims.

“Yu Yong Gi, 27, ancestors traced back to ancient China. Has a tattoo hidden somewhere on her body. Her real identity was found to be Xia Yong Qi; her ancestors were from the first dynasty from 2100 to 1600 BC. Her name translates to courage.”

Kim’s eyes stared hard into his partner’s as the latter finished with a small smug smirk. “What about the other one?”

“Ahn Jihye, 32, her real name is Oshiro Hannya. Oshiro means big castle and Hannya, wisdom. She comes from a long line of priests; her family runs a shrine just past Mount Fuji.”

Kim inspected both files, scanning their faces, “they both passed at such a young age.” He felt heartbroken for their families.

“Jihye has a tattoo also, it’s located somewhere on her body” Lee added while typing up a report. “I’ve contacted the lab; they have both bodies right now analyzing the damage done.”

“I suggest we get down there and take a look for ourselves. Bring the camera, we need clear shots” Lee added as he grabbed his jacket.

 

 

“Chanhee, how does it look?” the younger asked. Chanhee pulled out a full report and handed it to Lee while Kim got out the camera and was lead into the laboratory.

“It’s strange, there were no injuries inflicted on the exterior of both bodies. However, when the tests came out it looked like there was some kind of poison that ran through their blood stream.”

“What kind of poison?” Kim piped up, snapping photos.

“Well, actually it’s not found in our database.” Chanhee scratched the nape of his neck as his lips twisted. “We’re looking into it right now. I’ll go check up on it, be back soon.” He was half way through the doors before Lee spoke up.

“Oh, do you happen to know where the tattoo on her body lies?”

Chanhee looked at him puzzled then a light bulb went off, “ah! That, yes, it’s located on their backs!”
