His Fairytale

Kyungsoo closed his eyes and leaned his head on his desk, facing the window to show how uninterested he was on the debate his friends, Baekhyun and Jongdae, were having. It was just another lazy Tuesday for him. His eyes were on the verge of closing out of boredom and sleepiness until a familiar figure passed by outside their room.

Park Chanyeol,  a.k.a., his biggest senior crush and drummer of the school's popular band.

His sleepiness drifted away in barely a second as he lifted his head, eyes following the tall and handsome boy. Please, look this way. Please. Please. Please! He mentally chanted. Come on, please, look this wa-- !

Instead, it was Kim Jongin who looked his way while whispering something at the taller boy's ears which was followed by the said Park Chanyeol to look the same way with a smile.

Kyungsoo froze, not knowing if he should smile back or not but that didn't matter because his crush was smiling at him. I love you.

"Hi, Chanyeol! Hi, Jongin!" Baekhyun called out from behind him with a very cheerful greeting.

He cursed himself. Why can't I be like Baekhyun? Unlike his friends, Kyungsoo is not loud.

The drummer boy, along with the other boy whom he doesn't really like because Chanyeol's way hotter than him, returned the wave that his friend gave while he was still frozen in spot with obvious blushing cheeks. He never moved an inch even after the two figures outside disappeared already.

Oh, my heart.

"I bet Soo's daydreaming about his Prince Chanyeol again." Jongdae commented next to him, waving a hand in front of his face which successfully got him moving again.

He sighed, unsure if it was for relief or desperation. "Well, I wish fairytales are real."

"We can make your fairytale!" Baekhyun exclaimed, exchanging high-fives with Jongdae. "Let me start with you, waking up in a puddle of mud."

Kyungsoo snorted at the statement. "That was the most boring introduction to a fairytale. And how did I end up in a mud? That's dirty."

"Yeah." Jongdae agreed. "Kyungsoo fell down from heaven and you're not an angel but a poor, lost villager. You still fell on the mud."

Great, he internally groaned and decided ignore his friends again like the usual.
