Out Loud.MINHO LAY ON THE FLAT OF HIS BACK ON THE COOL FLOOR, HIS MOUTH HANGING HALFWAY OPEN AS HE TRIED TO CATCH HIS BREATH. His heart was still racing, the beats hard and fast that he wondered if it would eventually burst out of his chest. Beads of sweat trickled from his brow making their way towards his temples. He would wipe his forehead if only he could but his limbs remained planted on the floor’s surface, not budging from the spread eagle position that he found himself in after all that exertion.
He continued staring at the wood beams that held up the vaulted ceiling until his eyelids drifted shut in fatigue. But instead of sleeping his mind wandered, going over the last six months, questioning his motives, his plan.

It was the only thing that kept him sane in the last year of his service. The plan.

He sighed.
Was it all worth it? Would it be worth it?
A female voice cut through the haze of his thoughts.
“Get up.” she commanded, her voice echoing off the walls.
He slowly opened his eyes to the woman standing over him.
