Valentine’s Day…

A guy in the violent crimes unit is busy finishing his paper works while checking the time every second.

Just then, someone hit his head.

“Yah… Lee Junho, will you please finish that paper works. I need to submit that to team leader.” A woman that looks a little older to him said while holding a notebook that she used to hit him on his head.

“Yah! Noona! Can’t you see I am rushing? I need to finish this before 5:00. My princess is waiting for me.” Junho said.

“If you just finished that a week ago, you will never be rush today.” She said.

“Detective Hyo Joo, can I see talk to you for a minute?” the team leader asks.

“Ne, Team Leader Ji.” She said.

After she left, another guy came to Junho.

“Do you think Detective Hyo Joo and Team Leader Ji are dating?” the guy asks.

“Impossible. I know my noona well and besides we live together.” Junho said. Hyo Joo or Lee Hyo Joo is Junho’s older sister.

Junho finished writing his report and print it.

“Are you leaving early?” the guy asks.

“Ne. I have a date.” Junho said.

He puts his report in the folder and leaves it on the table of their team leader.

“Kikwang, Annyeong!” Junho said to the guy and left.

Seoul Tower…

A girl wearing her nicest clothes is waiting alone while everyone is having their own partner.

She sighed after checking the time. “He’s late.” She said.

She looks around and can’t help but to feel jealous to the other couples.

“Does he always make me wait for him?” she asks herself.

An hour passed…

She feels cold now and her feet hurt.

“Lee Junho…” she said while gritting her teeth. “I am sure gonna kill you.” She said and sniffs.

It seems that she will get sick.

And then, she saw him running while climbing the stairs.

“Princess! I’m here!” Junho said.

“Aish! Stupid. He should have ridden the bus.” She whispered. She’s getting embarrassed because the other couples are looking at her.

She wants to leave him because of embarrassment but her feet hurt because of wearing heels. She wasn’t used in wearing heels but because of that special day, she wears heels and even wears a dress.

Finally, Junho reached the top.

“Princess…” he said while panting. “Happy Valentine’s Day!”

He gave her a bouquet of flower.

“Yah… Do you know what time is it?” she asks gritting her teeth.

“Mian. I caught up in the traffic.” He said.

“Let’s go.” She said.

He holds her hand and starts walking but she didn’t walk.

“I thought we are going. Why?” he asks.

“Piggyback.” She said.

“Eh?! But I am tired of climbing up here.” He said.

“Piggyback.” She seriously said while throwing deathly glares to him.

“Araso.” He said and did what she wants.

Hyoyeon smiled while she rides on his back.

Junho starts to walk again.

The other couples that they passed by are jealous. Some of the girls asking their guys to do that too.

“Are you happy now?” he asks.

“Ne.” she said.

Finally, they reach the end of the stairs.

“Can I put you down now?” he asks.

“To the car.” She said.

“What?! But it is just only few steps away.” He said.

“Faster!” she said.

Junho has no choice but to carry her again towards his car.

Hyoyeon get down from his back and rides the car. She quickly removes her high heel shoes.

“Why did you wear high heel shoes when you are always comfortable with sneakers?” Junho asks before starting the engine of the car.

“It is Valentine’s Day. I should make an effort to what I wear today.” Hyoyeon said. “I’m hungry. Where are we going?”

“To our favorite restaurant.” Junho said.

Hyoyeon frowned and just looks at the car’s window.

Hyoyeon is still frowning while entering the restaurant.

“Aigoo… Junho, come in!” the owner said.

“Garie hyung, is everything ready?” Junho whispered to the owner.

“Ne. But it seems that your girlfriend doesn’t like here. You should have done this to a romantic restaurant.” The owner whispered.

“Hyung, this place is our favorite. My plan will be memorable if I do it here.” Junho said.

“Araso. Araso.” The owner said.

Hyoyeon went straight to the place where they usually eat.

“I thought he will bring me to a romantic restaurant.” She whispered. “Garie oppa, water please.”

“Ne, araso!” the owner said.

Junho sat on the chair facing Hyoyeon.

“Here’s your dinner.” The owner said while he personally serves them.

“Thanks, oppa.” Hyoyeon said.

Just then, Garie starts to sing I Swear by All 4 One.

Hyoyeon doesn’t know whether to laugh or not by Garie’s way of singing an English song. He sounds like a drunken man singing in a karaoke bar.

Then, a guy stands up and join’s Garie in his singing.

One by one, the customers that Hyoyeon thought join Garie in his singing.

Lastly, Junho stands up and sing the song on his own.

Hyoyeon was touch of the surprise. She didn’t notice that she already crying.

After the song, Junho holds her hands.

“Words can’t explain how much I love you. I know I am not good in words and I know how you hate cheesiness. But from this day on, all I want is to live the rest of my life with you on my side.” He sincerely said. “Hyoyeon princess, will you also spend the rest of your life with me as my wife?”

“Ne.” she sincerely said. She wants to say something like she wants to spend the rest of her life with him but since she also is not good in words and she really hates cheesiness, she just said yes.

Junho puts the ring on her finger.

As soon as the ring was put on her finger, Hyoyeon kissed Junho on his lips.

This is the best day for Hyoyeon.

On the next day…

Junho told to his sister about the proposal last night.

“She said yes?” Hyo Joo asks.

“Of course.” Junho said.

“Oh my! She said YES!” Hyo Joo happily shouts. “Congrats, dongsaeng!”

They caught the other’s attention.

Everyone is now congratulating him.

“When’s the big day?” a detective asks.

“We are still planning about it.” Junho said.

“Guys, we have a new case. Let’s go.” Team Leader Ji said.

Junho, Hyo Joo and the other members quickly left.

Crime Scene…

When they arrived at the crime scene, the police are already there.

They saw a woman’s body almost .

“What happened?” Team Leader Ji asks.

“A victim. Her name is Kim Ji Won, 25 years old and works as a clerk in a bank.” The police reported.

“She’s so young.” Hyo Joo said.

“There has been reported that she’s missing a week ago.” The police said.

“Missing?” Team Leader Ji asks.

“A week ago, her mother came to the police station to file a missing person.” The police said.

“We need to talk to the mother. Hyo Joo, Junho, do it.” Team Leader Ji said.

“Ne.” the siblings said.

Hyo Joo and Junho go straight to the house of the victim.

When they arrived at the gate of the house, they saw an old woman feeding the dog.

“Annyeong Hasaeyo, halmeoni. Are you Mrs. Kim?” Hyo Joo asks.

The old woman walks towards them.

“Ne.” the old woman answered.

“We are police.” Hyo Joo said. “Can we come in?”

The old woman opens the gate and let them in.

“Did you find my daughter?” the old woman asks.

Hyo Joo and Junho look at each other first before answering the question.

“I’m sorry, Mrs. Kim but your daughter’s dead body found on the side of the river.” Junho said.

The old woman shocked.

“Aigoo… Aigoo… Aigoo… My daughter!” the old woman cried.

Hyo Joo helped the old woman to be sat.

“Halmeoni, calm down.” Hyo Joo said.

“Halmeoni, we need your cooperation.” Junho said.

“Who are you?!” an angry voice said from the gate.

“My son!” the old woman said.

“Uhmeoni!” the man said and went to the old woman’s side.

“Ji Won is dead!” the old woman said while crying.

“What?! Where’s she?” the man asks.

“We found her dead body on the side of the river.” Junho said.

Just then, Junho’s handphone rings.

“What? Another victim?” Junho asks. “Araso. I’m coming.”

“Junho, what is it?” Hyo Joo asks.

“Noona, stay here. Kikwang said that they found another dead body in a construction site near the river.” Junho said and left.

In just a day, two dead bodies found in different but close location.

The violent crime team believes that the two victims’ killers are only one person.

“The first victim’s family told us that she was seeing a guy a month ago.” Hyo Joo said.

“The friends of the second victim told that she’s seeing a new guy too. The second victim said to her friends that she is living with that guy. They don’t know who it is.” Junho said.

“Some witnesses said that they saw a suspicious black van last night in the crime scene. Suspicious because the black van doesn’t have a plate number.” Kikwang said.

“Junho and Kikwang, find the second victim’s boyfriend. Hyo Joo, you and I will investigate the first victim’s background.” Team Leader Ji said.

Dancing Queen Dance School…

The Dancing Queen Dance School is owned by Hyoyeon. She with her two best friends teaches the teenagers and kids to dance.

“Omo!” Lee Minyoung said when she noticed Hyoyeon’s ring.

Lee Minyoung or Min is Hyoyeon best friend since young when they both became the best dancers in the dance school they attended when they were young.

“Did he propose?” Kwon Yuri asks.

Kwon Yuri is Hyoyeon’s best friend when she was in high school. They both joined the dance club in their school.

“Yeah. Yeah.” Hyoyeon said.

The two girls screamed.

“Congratulations, unnie!” Min said. She is the youngest of them.

“After you got married, are you going to continue dancing?” Yuri asks.

“Ne.” Hyoyeon said.

“Teacher Hyo, An’nin can’t get out of the rest room.” One of their students said as soon as she came in.

Hyoyeon, Yuri and Min went to the rest room.

They heard their student’s voice from inside the rest room asking for help.

Hyoyeon tried to open the door but it is locked. She heard her student crying inside the rest room but also someone is laughing.

“Kato Rena, is Iriyama Anna alone inside the rest room?” Hyoyeon asks the student that called them a while ago.

The student nodded.

“Min, could you take the students in the dance studio?” Hyoyeon asks.

“Ne.” Min said and takes the students.

“Hyo, is it a ghost?” Yuri asks.

“I think so.” Hyoyeon said.

Hyoyeon has a third-eye. She can see ghosts since she was in high school. Her third-eye opened when her class went for a camping. She was lost in the forest and a woman helped her to get back to her friends. Later she found out that the woman who helped her is a spirit. After that, she started seeing ghosts.

“Can you please open the door? My student is already scared.” Hyoyeon said.

“Teacher, who are you talking at?”

“Iriyama, just calm down, ok? I am trying to open the door.” Hyoyeon said. “Please, open the door. We can talk face to face. Promise, I won’t hurt you.”

The door suddenly opened.

Iriyama Anna quickly gets out and hugs Hyoyeon.

“Go with Teacher Yuri.” Hyoyeon said.

Yuri takes the student and left.

Hyoyeon enters the rest room. She saw a girl that has the same age as Iriyama Anna and they kinda look alike.

“Why did you do that?” Hyoyeon asks.

“I just want to be with my sister even just for a moment.” The ghost said.

“Sister? What’s your name?” Hyoyeon asks.

“Annie. Iriyama Annie. I am her older sister.” The ghost said.

“How did you die?” Hyoyeon asks.

“I and my sister Anna are playing in the park. She was only 2 years old that time. The ball rolled towards the other street. Anna runs after the ball. Then, a car is coming to her way, I pushed her away and I got hit by the car.” The ghost said. “Ever since I died, I always watch her. It wasn’t my intention to lock her here but today is my birthday. I just want to know if she still remembers me. I locked her here and see if she will call my name but it didn’t happen.”

Hyoyeon knew that the ghost is sad.

“Leave it to me.” Hyoyeon said.

Hyoyeon went to the infirmary where Iriyama is resting; on her back is Iriyama Annie.

“How are you?” Hyoyeon asks.

“I’m ok now.” An’nin said.

“You must have been really scared a while ago.” Hyoyeon said.

“Ne. I hate to be locked in a room alone.” An’nin said. “If only…”

An’nin didn’t finish her words.

“If only what?” Hyoyeon asks.

“If only my unnie is here. I am sure she will protect me.” An’nin said.

“You have an unnie?” Hyoyeon asks.

“Ne but she is already dead. Her name is Annie. I don’t have many memories about her but I always take a look at our pictures together. Mama said that unnie always takes care of me since I was a baby and she even sacrificed her life just to save me. I even got my nickname from her name. An’nin sounds like Annie, right? If only my unnie is still alive, I am sure that we will be really close to each other.” An’nin said. “Oh! Today is her birthday. I am going to buy her a birthday cake later.”

“I am sure that your unnie is happy right now.” Hyoyeon said.

“When I was in the rest room a while ago, I feel like she’s there too.”  An’nin said. “Teacher Hyo, you talked to someone a while ago while I was in there. Tell me, are you talking to my unnie? Because sometimes, I can feel my unnie watching me.”

“Are you not going to get scared if I tell you the truth?” Hyoyeon asks.

An’nin shook her head.

“Actually, it was your sister who locked you up in the rest room. It is her birthday today and she wants to be with you alone even just for a moment.” Hyoyeon said.

“I wish I can see her.” An’nin said.

“Tell her that I will always on her side even though she can’t see me.” Annie said.

“She said that even though you can’t see her, she will always on your side.” Hyoyeon said.

“Thanks for the help, Teacher Hyo.” An’nin said.

That night, Hyoyeon went to Junho and Hyo Joo’s apartment to prepare them a dinner.

“Luckily that Hyoyeon is here. I’ve been so very busy that I don’t have a time to cook.” Hyo Joo said during dinner.

“You have a tough job.” Hyoyeon said.

“Are you going to stay here tonight?” Hyo Joo asks.

“Aniyo. My family is coming tomorrow morning.” Hyoyeon said. “They are expecting Junho.”

“Oh my! You two are really going to get married.” Hyo Joo said. “I’m envious.”

“You should marry Team Leader Ji.” Junho said.

“Eh? Why did you mention him?” Hyo Joo asks.

“Aren’t you two dating?” Junho asks. “Someone saw you and team leader eating together.”

“Eh?! Someone saw us last Friday?” Hyo Joo asks.

“Gotcha! No one really saw you. I am just bluffing.” Junho said then laughed.

“Aish! Yah!” Hyo Joo shouts. “Go wash the dishes!”

Hyo Joo walks out.

“You made her angry again.” Hyoyeon said.

“I didn’t know that it was true.” Junho said.

“I should go now.” Hyoyeon said.

“I’ll take you home.” Junho said.

“You stay here. I can go home alone.” Hyoyeon said.

“It’s already late.” Junho said.

“Ok. You can just walk with me to the bus stop.” Hyoyeon said.

The couple is walking on the street while talking about anything. Hyoyeon talked to Junho about An’nin and her ghost sister.

“Impossible.” Junho said.

“It is true. Until now you don’t believe that I can see ghosts.” Hyoyeon said.

“I don’t believe it.” Junho said.

Hyoyeon pouts.

“Ok fine.” Hyoyeon said.

“Is my princess disappointed?” Junho asks.

“Don’t talk to me.” Hyoyeon said.

Junho walks on her front and faces her. He does an aegyo just to make her smile.

Later on, Hyoyeon can’t resist Junho’s aegyo.

“Araso. Araso. You can stop it now.” Hyoyeon said.

Finally, they arrived at the bus stop.

“Bye. See you tomorrow.” Hyoyeon said and hugs him.

“Bye. Call me when you got home.” Junho said.

“Ne.” Hyoyeon said and rides the bus.

Hyoyeon watches him until the bus moves.

“He will gonna die in a few days, you know?” someone said from the back.

Hyoyeon turned around and saw a girl with a black hair and wearing all black attire, from clothes to make-up.

Hyoyeon thought that it was ghost. She sat next to her so other passengers will not see her as a crazy woman.

“What do you mean?” Hyoyeon asks.

“His aura is getting weak.” The girl said.

“Aura. What aura?” Hyoyeon asks.

“Every person has an aura. The life of the person depends how wide the aura of a person is. In case of your boyfriend, his aura is only 1 inch wide.” The girl said.

“I can’t believe it. I can see ghosts but why can’t I see the aura of the people?” Hyoyeon said.

“Some people who experienced death can see the aura.” The girl said.

The bus stops at another bus stop.

The girl goes out of the bus.

Hyoyeon wonders if she’ll believe the ghost or not.
