The door bell rang.

What?! Its only nine in the morning and today is freaking Saturday!

"What's up Jin~"

I greeted her by the door half-heartedly.

"C'mon~ I know you're tired but just let me share something exciting with you first alright?"

I then invited her in and we got cozy in my bedroom.

(For your info, I live alone. My parents migrated abroad since I was 14 years old and it has been 5 years. No big deal~)

"So what you wanna share huh.."

Still answering with scrunny eyes and while yawning.

"You remember Youngjae? The new student in our class..."

Upon hearing Youngjae's name, I immediately thought of Daehyun."

"Erm yeah... Why?"

"Well~ He asked me out so...."

"HE WHAT?!"

"Chill girl~ Is it bad?"

"Erm no.... Haha, erm happy for you! Hehehe.. Share more Jin~"

Trying to look natural...

And I think I wasn't listening to her at all.

I was busy contemplating whether to tell her the truth or not...

"Hello~~?!"

"Oops sorry.. I was thinking about something..."

"I knew you weren't listening.. Come, spit em' out."

"Huh what?"

"Stop pretending, we are friends for reasons right... Tell me, who's that bast--"

"I--Its D--Daehyun Jin, Jung Daehyun, also Youngjae's step brother...."

Ok, silence.

Jin literally stared at me for awhile before blinking her eyes.

It took her awhile to process the situation into her mind as well, remembering what I've told her before too.

"So~~ What am I suppose to do? Should I avoid him in school? I feel so.....lost."

I frowned and sighed.

Jin came to me and hugged me.

"Its ok, everything will be fine. Just that he has to take up the responsibilities."

She then released the hug and looked at me sternly.

"Now that I know, I'll promise you. But, if he hurts you, I won't give in. You hear me?!"

I laughed, "Yes Madam Jin~"

She giggled.

Well, its not that Dae doesn't know how to take up responsibilties, he said he will but, I guess we're just not so ready yet.

Its too sudden.
