Today's the day.

Our school's annual event.

Its about an hour away till the show starts and all performers were ready.

"Don't get too nervous alright, do it like how we've practiced together."

Daehyun held my hands and encouraged me.

"Why are your hands so cold and you looked pale. Are you ok?"

Daehyun asked worriedly.

Yes, I was too nervous yesterday and unconciously I skipped my dinner and breakfast.

I didn't tell him because I didn't want him to worry too much since its our performance today.

"Nah I'm fine. I'm always cold when the aircon is strong, and probably my makeup is a little too light shaded."

I lied.

And he was looking a little suspicious yet not so obvious.

"I'll go get re-touches to make my shade warmer."

I quickly excused myself.

The show started and quickly, half of the show were done.

Soon it was our turn.

We're queued to go out and we confidently went out.

Daehyun held my hands and I know he's trying to ease my tension.

And I really did.

I imagined myself rehearsing with him as we normally would.

The lights went on and music was queued.

We then sang confidently, as melodious and harmoniously like we usually do.

We ended the last note with hands together, looking into each others' eyes.

The audiences and backstage people all applauded for us.

I feel comforted and relieved.

I mouthed him a great job and he gently hugged me sideways.

My heart skipped a little and I smiled.

The lights then went out and we quickly headed to the backstage, where our waiting room is.

"Great job Em! We did it!"

"Yeah we did. Thanks Daehyun, for being such an encourager and motivator."

"You too. Thanks Em~"

He hugged me.

I got a little stunned and I quickly turned away to pretend being busy.

Just when I was turning, I suddenly felt super dizzy.

And unknowingly, I fainted.

Daehyun got a huge shock and quickly held on to me.

"Em! Hey hey! Wake up! What happened are you ok?! Can you hear me Em?!"

I don't have the energy to answer him back and the next moment, I got into full black out.
