Kicked out

Roommates

Di looked at her bags and suitcases. They were stacked outside the front door of what used to be her home and an angry, yet hurt expression on her innocent face. “Thank you mom, it’s great to know you care.” A huff slipped her pink lips before she took out her phone to call her best friend, Joonyeon, asking for help. “Hey. I need a place to crash, they kicked me out.”

“Are you serious? They kicked you out to make room for his son? What a bunch of poopy people” Di couldn’t help but chuckle at her friend’s way of insulting others, it was simply too innocent. “Yeah. I guess this shows how mom really didn’t give a damn, that it was always dad.” Di shrugged her shoulder before lying down on the soft warm bed. “What am I gonna do Joon? I don’t earn enough at my part time job to rent anywhere near school or somewhere nice.” A pout covered the 21 year old girl’s lips before she looked at her friend.

They were like fire and water, yet they were best friends anyone could ever imagine. Di was the boyish type with short blond hair in a y yet classy style. Her face was cute at times and her dimples when she smiled wide could make her look childish. Of course she would never own up to that. Her strong opinions or slight temper often left people intimidated by her, yet she was placed in a box called fun and daring + sporty. Joonyeon on the other hand was a girl with a big fat line under feminine. She had long silky hair, enjoyed anything that had to do with fashion and fluffy unicorns and rainbows. She was popular and always had a guy by her side. Di was only known for the scandal, where her father being framed, that surrounded her family and no guys seemed to like her style or interests. Well she had a lot of friends that were guys and had the same interests but none of them saw her as an actual woman, though she would always wear makeup and make her nice. In the end she started not caring if she was one of the guys and simply enjoyed it. She hated boy related drama and apparently you needed a new boyfriend every month if you were popular, or at least that was how it seemed from watching Joonyeon.

“I think I might know a dorm you could live in” Joonyeon spoke as she fixed her lip-gloss, which Di found ridicules since it was just the two of them. “They live four people and one of them is searching for a roomie. It’s really cheap and the place looks awesome and new.” She nodded while Di slowly sat up and hummed. “That sounds quite nice actually.” Di hummed again before she smiled and made a rare puppy-dog-look to win over her trusted best friend to give her a hand. “Will you help me arrange it please?” Joonyeon laughed before she patted her friend’s cheeks. “Anything for you my darling.” She sang before both girls laughed, yet Di couldn’t help but worry in advance, as she had no idea how to live with 4 girls without losing her head. Of course she had no idea the dorm wasn’t filled with girls.

Chapter 5: Hey, this is actually pretty awesome! I like all the different personalities and the tension between all of them. Especially Khuns words at the end of this chapter brought it to a whole new level. I like the fact that Di is not the typical Drama-girl, wo is harassed by the boys who of course all hit on her (well sort of they do, but not all of them, so thats toally legitime xD). Just like Khun said, she doesn't blush and hide in her room. It's a nice twist. Although I wished to see a lot more of how they grew close. I wonder if you're still continuing this story, since it's been a while.. Hope you do, because I really want to see how things work out ;) Keep up the good work! Kansahamnida author-nim!
