Taeyeon’s POV:

“Thank you for your time”

I looked up upon hearing her speak up again. I wanted to stop her from leaving, but I didn’t find myself in any position to do so. For whatever reason, I found myself glued on to the chair as all I could do was watch her retreating figure- walking out the door and perhaps even my life.

There was my last chance of happiness and I let it slip away before letting her know who I was. How stupid was I to ask her a question even I haven't an answer to?

“Gosh. Dammit.” I mustered out in frustration. I massaged my forehead until I was able to compose myself a little.
