December 30, 2013 "A New Year's Eve party?" Seulgi questioned as Jongin came up with suggestions of how to celebrate the beginning of 2014. He was now sprawled out on his bed, snug under the sheets, in the same position he's been forced to be in all day. Seulgi was preparing the last pills Jongin had to drink after an entire day of bedrest.   "Yeah!" Jongin exclaimed. "Just a small one. We've never had one, and since we're both gonna be in the city this year, we might as well celebrate together with a few of our friends right?"   "But you're still sick." She argued, plumping down next to Jongin, taking his hand to help him sit up. His skin color was now back to normal, and his nose was no longer stuffed.   "Tell you what," Jongin muttered, leaning against his headboard once he sat up. "If my temperature drops down back to normal by the end of this day, then we push through. If not, then okay. We'll stay in, order a few boxes of pizza and watch the fireworks from the balcony." He proposed. "Sound good?"   She picked up the glass of water on the bedside table. "Fine, a small party." She gave in, handing Jongin the pills. "Now drink."   He flashed her a satisfied grin of triumph before he gulped down the pills along with all the water in the glass.    ---   December 31, 2013 Seulgi was startled awake by the sound of the loud shifting of furniture from outside. She let out a slight mewling sound, shooting her head to the side, noticing the boy next to her was gone.   She followed the noise and stepped out of Jongin's room, straightening out the jersey she had on above her boxers looking downwards from the common area on the second floor. She let out a quiet gasp once she did. A bunch of strangers were either lifting in tables, setting up chairs, or even removing some of the furniture in their living room creating a large, empty space.   "Jongin-ahhh." She called out, walking down the stairs and tying up her hair, observing as what looked like mobile strobe lights was built in the corner of the room. "Kim Jongin!" She repeated at a louder volume, her gaze unstoppably swerving around the room.   Jongin banged through the entrance of the loft, holding it open as another set of men brought in a black speaker. "Just place it there over at the corner," He instructed.   "Jongin." She crossed her arms across her chest allowing the men to pass infront of her.   "Oh, hey. You're awake!" He exclaimed, rushing to her side. "What do you think?"   Seulgi furrowed her eyebrows, her lips pressing into a thin line. "You said small."   "This isn't even close to what large is in my vocabulary." He argued, chuckling.   "How 'bout in mine?" She cried out, cringing at Jongin.   "Seul."   "Where did all of this even come from?" Seulgi raised her voice again. "How did you pull this off in one night-- and who's paying--"   "I have it all under control." He informed her, placing both his hands on her arms trying to reclaim her composure.   "I am most certainly not allowing you to--"   "Seul, just let me do this one thing for you." He sighed, pouting. "Just one thing. Jeez, you won't even let me pay for your dinner or your cab rides." Jongin raised her chin to meet his gaze. "You took care of me yesterday. Please, just this one thing in return. Please."   She looked up into his sincere, doe eyes swimming in a pool of brown looking down at her desperate for an approval and making it impossible for her to say no. The noise around them tuned out the silence between them before she heaved a sigh, giving up. "Fine."   A grin immediately re Jongin's face, as he threw his arms around her. "It's gonna be a great night, I promise."   "But I'm still not letting you pay for everything." She whined stubbornly, pulling back. "Let me pay for something-- anything."   "Hm." Jongin thought, his hands trailing down to cup her waist on either sides. "How about you go out and get yourself a nice dress for tonight?"   ---   It was almost five in the afternoon as Seulgi shoved her key inside the hole of the door, carefully turning the knob as she held onto the large paperbag in hand. There were no more strangers wandering around the loft, and the noise left along with them. She exhaled deep, as she looked around, observing how their loft has been transformed into what looked like a club in the matter of a few hours. Couches circled an empty space which she assumed was the dancefloor. Tall strobe lights and speakers were in all corners, and a mobile bar was set up next to the balcony's glass doors. Seulgi, despite being irked by the thought of parties in general, was thorougly impressed at what Jongin managed to pull off.    She reached the second floor, and instantly heard Jongin's voice radiating from his room.   "Just a few people, okay?" Jongin demanded, one hand holding his phone close to his ear. "I mean it Lu, just a few!" He heard the creaking of the door, as Seulgi's head peeked through. He gave her a soft smile, and raised his free hand up as a way of asking her to wait a moment. She nodded in response as she entered the room and plumped down on the edge of the bed, hand still gripping onto the bag.    "Yeah, come at around 9 or 10." Jongin mumbled. "Alright, see you man." He dropped his hand away from his ear and sat next to Seulgi.    "Luserhan?" She asked, referring to who he was talking to on the phone earlier.   He nodded but switched his gaze on the paperbag in her hand. "What'd you get?" He smugged, reaching out to grab it.   Seulgi immediately placed them behind her, trying to drop it on the floor to keep it as far away from him as possible. "No, no." She argued, her back already on the bed, Jongin hovering above her as she shoved his hands away. "You'll see it tonight."   "Fine." He chuckled, leaning on his one arm for support as his face stayed inches above hers. The silence instantly enveloped them both, as their gazes locked on each other's eyes. Jongin's shifted down to her pink lips which pressed themselves into a thin line.   "What time does the party start?" Seulgi muttered softly, her warm breath touching the tip of Jongin's nose.    "We have a few hours." He whispered, smirking as he brushed his the back of his fingers against her cheek.    And once he felt her hand wove itself at the back of his neck pulling him close, his lips were on hers, and they barely parted until the night and New Year's Eve invaded the city of Gangnam.    ---   "We're here, Jongin." Chanyeol mumbled from the other end of the phone. "We also picked up the girls like you asked."   "Door's open," Jongin let him know, as he buttoned up his shirt in front of his room's mirror. "Just come in, we'll be down in a few."   "Alright." Chanyeol responded before ending the call.   Jongin put down his collar and combed his hair back a few times before calling out. "Seul, they're here."   "Alright-- just a few-- " Seulgi croaked from behind the bathroom door. "Minutes-- I'm... just-- getting- dressed--"   Jongin chuckled as he walked towards the bathroom door. "Need help?"   "No-- it's o-kay--" She stammered, her words in segments. "I'm okay-- don't--"   Jongin already turned the knob and was peeping inside. Seulgi's one arm was currently awkwardly draped over own shoulder; trying to reach the zipper at the bottom of her dress. She whirled around at the sou
