It started as a fling, perhaps. 

A few drinks at the bar. Good-looking strangers who may or may not have been brushing past each other throughout the night. A random hookup. A night of half-conscious . It didn’t matter, they didn’t know each other. 

Cheap.

Cheap is what many would call their first encounter, the start of their relationship. Yongguk would term it otherwise, and Himchan quotes, “the finest of mediocre twenty first century grown romance, scrutinized by many, but not a subject of shame.” Yongguk was strange like that, and Himchan did have some trouble adjusting to seeing the world in a completely new aspect the first few months they started dating.

They did start dating after the hookup, surprisingly. The younger man may or may not have had a mini panic attack after discovering that he woke up to a foreign bed in another man’s apartment, . He was of course, not discreet about his shock, and very accidentally woke up the man sleeping next to him.

There was an awkward silence as the man sat up and tried to process the situation. 

“Good morning,” He had said, and Himchan still remembers the way his deep voice seemed to have melted him right there.
