Hyuk honestly never thought that he would find his Connection, his other half. It just didn't seem possible that there was someone out there who was meant for him, someone who would love him completely and  unconditionally. He was almost certain that he would always be a Single,a thought that he told himself didn't bother him. Being a Single wasn't that bad. No one to tie you down, no one to hold you back, no one to stop you from doing whatever you wanted. You could stay out as long as you wanted, date whoever you wanted - the possibilities for fun were endless when you were a Single. No, Hyuk didn't mind being a Single. He didn't mind it in the slightest. Sure sometimes he wondered what it would feel like to have someone hold him tight and kiss him senseless and know that this person was his entirely, that this person would always love him; and sure these thoughts made his heart ache with the knowledge that surely something like that could ever happen to him, but being a Single forever didn't bother him in the slightest. Not at all.
