I decided to go down to the dance floor instead of going back to our VIP area. I started to dance on my own, but then a couple girls started to come around me. I loved it when girls were friendly instead of being completely catty for no reason. We danced together, and their guy friends came to join.

  They offered drinks, which I probably shouldn't have accepted but I did anyway being too drawn in the moment.    I guess  one of the guys took me accepting his drink as me being interested him, because he became j enough to try to start dancing with me.  I didn't want to be rude and just push him away, so I slowly started to move away and danced on the girls again.    However after a few minutes, he tried to make a move on me again. I turned around meaning to let him know I'm not really interested in him, but because it was so crowded and I was really feeling the alcohol, I kept stumbling onto him. Then he took the opportunity to grab my and I gasped.   But before I could even say anything, someone pulled me back into their arms.    I looked up to see Jay. Of course.    "I'd back off if I were you." He said sternly.    The guy looked like he was about to come up to Jay, but I saw him looked behind Jay and just turned around and walked away. I was feeling too tired and light headed to argue with him right now. When we made it out to the parking lot, I then realized how much my heels were hurting me. My steps became slower. It hurt too much to walk. So I stopped and Jay turned around to look at me.    "My feet hurts." I said quietly and tried to release my hand from his but he wouldn't let go. I looked up at him but before I could even question, he sweeper me off my feet. Then continued to walk with me in his arms, without even saying anything or looking at me.    He's pissed.    He placed me in the passenger seat and when I saw him grab the seat belt, I said, "I can do that on my own you know."    That earned me a glare from him. I put my hands up in defeat, "Fine." Jay buckled me up and closed the door. Through half open eyes, I saw him walk over to the guys. They must be saying goodbye to each other.    After they got done talking, Jay walked back over to the car and got into the driver seat. "Where are we going?" I asked.   "Home." He said without looking at me. Whatever. Too tired to protest.     I kicked off my heels and folded my legs under me and leaned the seat back a bit. I turned my head towards Jay's direction and just stared at him.   He must have felt me staring, because he looked back at over at me.  Then he reached over and placed his free hand on mine, intertwining our fingers.    "What are you doing?" I asked but didn't pull away.    "Holding your hand." He said quietly.    "We broke up." I replied still staring at him.    "I know.. But I just need to hold on to you right now.
