After sitting on the random bench I found on the side of the road for what must've been hours since it started to get really dark, I made my way to Jay's condo. I needed to pack my stuff. 

  Before I stepped in, I took a moment to let the view of our condo sink in one last time. What used to be ours. This was the place that Jay and I could completely be ourselves around each other with. Every piece of furniture, down to spoon and forks we placed in here together. The thought of leaving all of this behind made me feel like my world was coming to a complete stop.    I took a deep breath and made my way to the closet then started packing. I tried to make it quick, because I couldn't stand sitting in our closet and being surrounded by Jay's scent.    "What are you doing?" Jay's voice made me jump.    I looked at him then quickly turned around to do hurry up and finish. "I'm packing."   "Why?"  The sound of voice made it seem like what I was doing was crazy.    "We broke up, Jay. I need to move out." I said blankly.    He came towards me and turned me around to face him. "You don't need to go anywhere." "Yes I do."    "No. You don't. Stay here." He said sternly.    "Stop it, Jay." I tried to get out of his grip. "Stay!" He yelled.    "I CAN'T!" It hurts too much.    "WHY HUH? Did I tell you you had to leave?! Did I say I was kicking you out?" His chest was heaving up and down with anger at this point.    "BEING HERE HURTS JAY. It's filled with memories of you and I. Seeing all of our things, hurt. Seeing you, hurts, Jay." I said on the verge of tears. He pulled me in and embraced me.    "Stay, Hyemi. Please." Jay said quietly. "You can stay in the guest room, or I'll stay in the guest room. I won't bother you, but please, stay. I don't know what I can do to make you change your mind and make you believe that we'll work, but please don't go. I can barely even stand the fact that you've broken it off, I don't know how I'm suppose to handle you just picking up and leaving for good. I'm going to go crazy." Jay was shaking at this point. I don't think I've ever felt him be so vulnerable.    "I'll stay in guest room." I said softly.    I felt his body relax. "Thank you.."    "Until I figure out what I'm going to do." I finished. Jay didn't say anything after that. I pulled away and grabbed my stuff. He just stood there like a statue after I pulled away a
