" Annyeong. "

" What are you doing here? "

" Why can't I be here? "

" Aniyo.I thought you went to the States.. "

" I just got back a few days ago.I miss you,Sica. "

I could not believe it.

Yuri and I,we were in a relationship a few years ago,before she went to the States as her father found a job there.

" How's my ice princess? "

" Yah,stop calling me that. I have lost my iciness already. "

" Jeongmal? Hmm,I can't wait to meet the person who made your iciness disappeared. "

" You'll see her soon. "

Just then,Fany came towards us.

" Sica shi,I'm done buying my books. Can we go? "

" Wait. Fany ah,this is Yuri.Yuri,this is Fany. "

" Annyeong haseyo.Great to see you. "

" Who is this? "

Fany was confused.

" Yul and I were friends. "

" Ohh.You never told me about her. "

I cleared my throat.

" You bought your books already right? Let's go.We can have lunch together with Yuri. "

We walked together.

I stood in between Fany and Yul.

How can I tell Fany about my relationship with Yul? 

Not long after,we entered a cafe.

" How long have you two known each other? "

" 4 years to be exact. "

" Wow,you must be best friends then. "

Yul gave a curious look.

" Didn't Sica tell you? "

Etteohke??

" Tell me what? "

Fany looked at me,then at Yul.

I dreaded the thought of Fany's reactions.

My heart pounded hard and fast.

I wrung my hands and tugged at the hem of my blouse.

" Sica and I were sort of together. "

Tiffany's POV

" Sica and I were sort of together. "

Stupefied,I turned speechless.

Tears brimmed in my reddened eyes as I felt the world collapse.

I avoided Sica's eyes.My heart ached.I fought back tears.

I wiped away a teardrop with the back of my hand and forced a faint smile.

" Is that so? That's great. "

From the corner of my eye,I could see Sica looking at me cautiously.

Yul smiled sweetly.

Why didn't she tell me?

" Excuse me.I have to go to the ladies. "

Choked with emotions,I stood up and headed to the washroom.

I entered a cubicle.

I let the tears flow down my cheeks,my neck and onto my pink,velvet dress.

I could hear my heart shatter into a million pieces.

I walked out of the cubicle and looked at myself in the mirror.

My face was tear-stained.I took a tissue and clean my face.

I held my breath and walked out of the washroom,pretending as if nothing

happened.

I avoided looking at Sica.

" Fany ah,are you okay? "

" Ne.Why should I not be okay? "

We had an akward silence.

" Should we go now? "

" Ne. Let's go. "

While we were walking,I saw Sica locking arms with Yul.

I felt a stab in my heart.

I pretended not to care.

As soon as I reached the office,I went into my room and shut the door.

I sat on my chair,tears welling up in my eyes.

Why didn't you tell me?
