Park Hyo Rim, an ordinary girl, just walking down the streets of Busan. This will be the last time she will be walking down the streets of Busan before going to Seoul to further her studies. While walking, she saw an old man sitting there, being ignored by everybody walking pass him. Hyo Rim walk towards him and saw him holding two rings. She bend down and asked him how much the rings were. He told her that she could have one of them for free. She was shocked at first to see a beautiful ring gave by an old man to her but still accepted it. 

"Once you put on this ring on, you can never take it off. It is just like other rings but this shows your real emotions. It will turn into a mix of colours when the person is to be with you for your entire life is near. If there is a crack on the ring, something bad will happen to your family."

The old man told her. She walked away hesitantly after thanking him. She took a few more steps but felt pity for the old man so she turned around, wanting to give him some money but when she looked back, he was nowhere to be found.
