Author’s POV

Taemin kiddy couldn’t stop thinking of his cute Sulli. It’s been a few days, but Sulli didn’t come back. He wanted to see and play with her badly. So he decided visit her house. But he didn’t know where Sulli’s house was. He couldn’t go there alone; because he’s too young, and his mom wouldn’t leave him go outside without her. He needed someone company with him. I walked to his mom who was drinking tea in the garden, and admiring the nice weather.

-          Umma – he called her 

-           What’s up, Taemin? – she smiled to her little son

-          I want to play with Sulli again. Can we … visit her? – he hesitated

-          So, my son’s missing his girlfriend? – she giggled, and started teasing him

-          No, umma. She … she’s just a friend, a best friend, … not …not my girlfriend – he looked embarrassed

-          Why are you so puzzled, Taemin? I mean Sulli is your friend, and she is a girl. So, she’s a girl – friend – she tried to emphasize “girl friend” word

-          Umma, why do you always tease me with Sulli? – he blushed

-          I’m just kidding. I’ll ask your appa about that – she said

Then she took Taemin’s tiny hand back to the working room of her husband. She saw her husband was busy with reading book alone. I walked towards him, gave him a quick peck that made him surprised. He turned back and saw his beautiful wife, and beloved youngest son.

-          Yoona, what’s wrong? – General Junho said

-          Taemin asked me bring him to General Changmin’s mansion. He misses cute Sulli – his wife said

-          Um … it’s been a while we haven’t visit them. Anyway today is Sunday, I think they have free time to hang out with us – Junho said, and put Taemin sit on his lap

-          I miss Yuri so much, her pudding’s so delicious. We can have afternoon tea, and chat chit – Yoona said happily

-          We’re going to visit Sulli, right? – Taemin’s face brighten because of the happiness

-          Yes, we’re going to go there now – Changmin said

Yoona went to the play room of her sons, where all of them were gathering and playing game together. They was lying down on the ground, playing video game, and shouting loud.

-          Hey, boys. – she said

-          Umma – all of them turned their head towards her

-          Your appa and I are going to visit a friend’s mansion. Do you want to go with us?  - she said

-          No … we’re busy with playing game. We can’t pass this level since yesterday – her sons said

-          Alright, I’ll take Taemin along – Yoona said

-          Why do you bring Taemin with you, umma? – his son Key questioned

-          Because Taemin wants to visit his girl-friend – Yoona giggled and looked at Taemin

-          Umma, I told you she’s just a friend – Taemin kept denying

-          What? Really? Taemin got a girl-friend? – Yoona’s son Jonghuyn said

-          How does she look like? Is she pretty and cute? – her sons Onew asked while eating his chicken

-          If she’s pretty, I’ll visit her – the 4^th son Minho said  while playing video game 

-          She’s very … - Yoona was about to say “pretty”

-          No, she’s not pretty, just so-so – Taemin cut her off, he said that because he didn’t want to share his cute Sulli with his brothers.

-          If she’s not pretty, we won’t visit her. We rather stay home and play video game. – 4 others said

-          Okay, stay home, and be good boys – she said and patted her sons’ head

Yoona changed her clothes, then helped Taemin’s changing clothes nicely. Junho, Yoona, and Taemin went into the car and drove to Changmin’s mansion.

Taemin’s POV

The car arrived at a big and beautiful mansion. The maids greeted my family politely. A maid guided us to a big glass house garden. There’re many different type of flowers. The flower’s scent made me felt comfortable. I saw a man and a woman were sitting at white wooden table in the garden. They were having afternoon tea. As the far distance, I could recognize that man was uncle Changmin, and the woman sat next to him, was very beautiful. They gave us a big smile as saw my parents and me.

-          Yoona, I miss you so much – that woman ran to my umma and hugged her

-          Yuri, it’s been a long time. I miss you too – my umma said

-          Hi, Junho. What brings you here? – uncle Changmin said

-          I’m just bored, and my son wants to hang out with your Sulli – my appa said

-          Is this your youngest son? He’s so cute – a woman named Yuri pinched my cheek

-          Yes, his name is Taemin. Say hi to aunty Yuri, Taemin – my umma said

-          Hi, aunty Yuri. – I smiled to her

-          Hi, Taemin. Do you come to visit my daughter? – she asked me

I nodded and blushed. I couldn’t wait to see Sulli. I looked around to find if she was in the garden. My parents and Sulli’s parents sat at a table. There’re many puddings, tea cups, and a tea pot.

-          Sulli, come over here – her mom shouted

There’s a little movement behind the brushwood. Someone jumped out, that scared me. I startled, and saw Sulli ran out. Wow, today she’s so cute in white dress and her hair loosened around her shoulder. She decorated her hair with a small orchid pin near her ear. She ran fast towards me while holding a big flower. She’s even more beautiful than that flower. Her face spattered with mud

-          Taemin oppa, you really came – she sang happily and held my hand

I nodded my head as “yes”. Her umma asked her come over them. She used handkerchief to wipe the mud off on Sulli’s face

-          Sulli, why are your face so dirty? – her umma said

-          I’m helping Victoria unni fertilizer her flowers. – she said and pointed at the brushwood where her unni was behind the brushwood.  

-          How’s about your work? – her umma said

-          Unni forbid me help her, she said I caused trouble for her – she pouted

-          So, why don’t you take your Taemin oppa somewhere and play with him? – my umma said

-          Yes, I’ll play with Taemin oppa – she said and pulled me out the glass house garden

She and I stopped at side of the pond at outside garden. She told me wait for her a few minute. I nodded, and stood there waiting for her come back. A few later, she came back with a huge pink paper box. She placed it on the grass, started opening the box, and finding something.

-          Let’s play “happy family” – she handed me a brownish teddy bear  

-          What’s “happy family” game? – I never heard about it before

-          Just like playing role in the family – she said while holding a little baby doll

-          But how to play it? – I asked her the rule

-          It’s easy, Taemin oppa will play as the Prince, and I’m a Princess – she said

-          Ah … I understand. Why do I must be a teddy bear? – I prefer a boy baby doll

-          I only have teddy bear, and girl baby bolls. Or do you want to play as my sister? – she said

-          No, no… I’m a boy. Teddy bear is alright – I said

Then we started the play. Actually this game was very boring, but I didn’t want to make her sad. Sulli was very happy while playing as the Princess. We even made a fake conversation for teddy bear Prince, and baby doll Princess. Suddenly, she said “Do you love me, oppa?” I raised my head up immediately, my eyes popped up, and stared at her a few second. Why … why did she ask me if I love her? I didn’t know if I love her or something. But I assure that I like her a lot. It seemed too early for little kids like us saying “I love you” phrase. I rolled my eyes around and was in the middle of thinking.

-          Oppa - She patted my shoulder slightly

-          Yes – I replied

-          Do you love me, oppa? – Sulli asked again

-          I … I don’t know either … - I felt so shy while answering

-          No, I can’t say it. A prince should suppose to say “I love you” to his princess. You’re playing as Prince? Remember? – she said

OMG, I thought too much. She’s still in the play. She wanted my teddy bear said “I love you” to her baby doll. Not in real. I was such an idiot. I thought she’s asking about … us … I mean not teddy bear and baby doll.

-          Got it, oppa? – she said

-          Ah, yes – I said

-          Then, say it to my baby doll – she requested me

-          Okay, I love … you, princess – I hesitated.

I knew it’s just a game, but why I felt so nervous, and awkward while saying it. I had feeling like I said to her in real. But Sulli was so innocent, she didn’t think that much as me. Then she pressed her baby doll against me

-          What are you doing, Sulli – I said

-          Kissing, after the prince said that, the princess should kiss the prince – she blinked non-stop

-          How do you know that? – I said

-          I peeped my parents. I saw they kissed every day. Very romantic – she giggled

-          So, you learned it from your parents – I said

-          Don’t tell my parents, oppa. I’ll be scold – she begged me not tell her parents

-          Okay, I won’t. Don’t worried – I said

-          I wish one day my prince will come, and kiss me like this – she covered her pink cheek by her chubby hand

I blushed too. In my mind, I wish I would be her prince. I would give her that romance kiss. But not now, a few years later would be alright. The sky got darker. “Is it going to be rain?” I thought. When I looked up, I saw a big shadow cover a part of the blue sky. It’s not rain, just a man’s shadow. He smiled happily to me and Sulli

-          Ah, Heechul oppa – Sulli shouted

-          Hi, cutie. Playing huh? – he said

-          Yes, I’m playing with Taemin oppa – she said and pointed at me

-          I’ve just come back from the trip. I bought a chocolate bar and a … big big big teddy bear – he took the teddy bear out, which was hid behind his back

-          Wow… it’s so big. I love it – she sang happily, and threw the small teddy bear just now away on the ground. She hugged it tightly and kissed it non-stop  

I felt hurt a little bit. When I saw she threw the small teddy bear, I had feeling like she was throwing me away. I picked the small teddy bear up.

-          Why did you throw it away, Sulli? – I asked her

-          No, I don’t like it anymore. I love the big one

-          But the small teddy bear is cuter – I tried to persuade her get it again

-          No, the big bear is just like Heechul oppa. Big teddy bear will protect me from the bad dream. I’ll hug it when I go to sleep everyday – She said and threw the small teddy bear again

-          Keep playing kids, I must go back to castle. My father’s waiting for me. Next time, I’ll visit you, Sulli – he said and patted Sulli’s head

-          Bye, Taemin kiddy – he patted my head too, but I pushed his hand away while looking at him angrily

-          You promise to visit next time. Don’t forget your promise. – Sulli said

-          Of course, how can I forget the promise with a cutie like Sulli – he said

-          I love you most, oppa – she said and gave him a peck

My eyes popped out. What did she say? She said she loved him most. How’s about me? Last time, she said she loved me most. How could she forget it easily? That Heechul went away, left me and Sulli alone. Sulli opened the chocolate bar immediately and it

-          Sulli, why did you say you love him most? – I said

-          Yes, because he gave me big teddy bear – she still chewed her chocolate bar

-          But, last time you said you loved me most – I said

-          What’s wrong with that? I said that every time, someone gave me gift – she her chocolate non-stop without looking at me

I felt angry now, how could she say it so easily? She said it to everyone who gave her gift. I thought I was special to her. She just loved my ice cream and candy, not me. My heart hurt a lot.

-          Do you want to eat chocolate with me? – she held the chocolate bar up close to my mouth

I hated everything belong to that Heechul huyng. I didn’t need it. If I wanted chocolate, my umma could buy for me. No need to accept his chocolate bar

-          I don’t need it – I said angrily and pushed her hand up.

But I pushed it too strong. The chocolate bar flied into the pond nearby us. Sulli’s eyes dewed with tears. And she got angry

-          Why did you throw my chocolate away? – she shouted at me

-          I didn’t mean. It just because you didn’t hold it tightly – I tried to convince her that’s not my fault

-          Give me back chocolate. Give me back – Sulli said and started hit my chest

I pissed off now. I told her it’s just accident. It’s not my fault. But she didn’t listen. How could she hit me just because of a small chocolate bar. I could give her a thousand chocolate bars if she wanted. I lost control, my body’s burning now. I didn’t recognize that a small fire appeared in my palm. Sulli still hit me. I didn’t feel hurt because Sulli hit me not very strong. But I hated being yell by her. I held her hands back, not let her hit me anymore.

-          Aaaaaaahhhhh …. My hands… so hot – she screamed out and cried hard

I startled, and looked at my palms. Small fire was in my palm. Then I looked at her hands. Her hands were red, and swollen by burning. She pointed her hands to me and yelled at me “Why do you hurt me?” I wanted to explain. When I got angry, I couldn’t control my power. Sulli ran towards the glass house garden while shouting loud. I would be death for sure. I ran after her, tried to stop her telling her parents

-          Appa … Umma… - she said in sob

-          What’s wrong, Sulli? – her appa said

-          Appa… Umma… my hands … - she cried harder while hugging her appa

-          What’s happen to you Sulli? – her umma checked her burned hands

-          Taemin … Taemin … he hurts me – she said

-          What? – my appa turned his head right away and stared at me

-          He burned my hands. – she said

-          No… No… I didn’t mean that – I said to my umma

-          You … I told you many times, not hurt everyone by your power – my appa stood up and slapped my face hard

My umma and Sulli’s parents looked shock. Sulli’s appa stood up immediately, and stopped my appa’s track not hit me another slap. My tears started falling down. I didn’t mean to harm her. I really liked her. It’s just an accident. Why no one understand it? She didn’t understand, my parents neither. They even slapped me because of her. I stared at her angrily while covering my red cheek.

-          I think Taemin didn’t mean to hurt Sulli, please don’t slap him – Sulli’s umma said

-          I think so too, calm you down, Junho – Sulli’s appa said

-          He also got punish because of this. Forgive him – my umma said to my appa

-          Say sorry to Sulli now – my appa commanded

-          I’m sorry you, Sulli – I said and offered her a shank hand

-          No , No , my hands so hurt … I hate you… I hate you most – she said and ran back to the mansion

Finally, she said she hated me. Our friendship was ruin just only because of a chocolate bar. And my appa slapped me, my umma scold me. Since that, I hate chocolate most. I hate Sulli too. She abandoned me just like a teddy bear. Our friendship only lasted almost a week. I never come to uncle Changmin’s mansion any more. My father became stricter to me. He warned me about my power many times. I still kept her small teddy bear. Not because I like her, just because I thought the teddy bear was so poor like me. Both of us were abandoned by her.

one thing I want to mention is Heechul. He is the son of the previous king. He can't be King, because when his parents die, he's too young. So, his uncle became a king, but his uncle doesn't have a son or a daughter. So he accepted Heechul as his son. And Heechul is offically to be heir of the current king. In this story, Heechul is 11 years older than Sulli. So when Sulli is 5, and he is 16.
