snow whiteMinseok ran for his life. Even though he was very athletic and healthy, his lungs started burning from over exersion. He wondered if he was going in the wrong direction, because, although he was following the sounds of the path he had taken in, he wasn't getting anywhere close to the entrance of the forest, which he should have done by now. Was he lost? He tried to figure out his position; he didn't want to escape with his life from a hunter, just to have it taken by a wild beast. He listened keenly to the sounds around him when he picked it up, the sound of a small waterfall. He had heard it while coming in.
Happy to be back on track, Minseok ran in the direction of the sound, a bit more careful now as it had been long since he left the clearing where Tao sat him, and he might be looking for him by now.
No matter how much Minseok ran, he didn't seem to be getting any close to the waterfall. He came upon a dark section of the forest, where the canopy was so thick that almost no light passed through. The ground was covered with bushes with sharp thorns. Minseok would have to go through this section to get close to the waterfall. He was afraid of making too much noise or encountering an animal but he had to do what he had to, to survive. He started clambering through the thicket that scratched him, and tore at his clothes. It was as if the forest didn't want him to pass through, Minseok thought, paranoid.
After much hard work Minseok managed to cross into a meadow. It was very beautiful, but Minseok didn't have time to admire it. He ran again towards the waterfall, which now sounded closer. Although, he got to it soon after, Minseok was more worried. This is not what the other waterfall sounded like, nor did he pass by so closely to it when moving in the forest. Did he make a mistake in his calculations?
Thoroughly spent, Minseok decided to sit first and rest. He drank the fresh water from the waterfall, the sweetest water he had tasted in his life. While, he sat there recovering his energy, Minseok tried to figure out which way he should go next to get out of the forest. He needed to do something quick, since he was hungry, having missed lunch, and evening was approaching quickly.
He kept wandering when he came upon a house, an isolated house in the forest. It was quaint with beautiful architecture, adorned with gems, gold, like they themselves grew into vines and decided to circle the house. Minseok knew at once what he needed to do...high tail out of there! There was no way in that a lone random house like that would just stand in the middle
