“AHH!!” niel eyes wide opened after a nightmare woke him up. he looked down to the front him, the body laid on the bed hours ago was gone. “b-byung..” he uttered, immediately getting up from his seat.

Flashback

“byunghun!!!” Mrs. Ahn ran to the way where the sick boy was. His pillows were all over painted with blood, his blood. Mr. Ahn rushto the boy, trying to stop the blood from coming out from the boy’s mouth. Niel only ended standing at the front door of byunghun’s room. He was scared to see him, too scared to face the boy who’s currently threatened with death.

“what should we do…he keep bleeding!!!”

”this isn’t right…I still can’t stop him!!” mr. ahn turned to his son “daniel” niel gasped, looking up. “get dr. fuji now!!!”

“yy-yes father”

Flashback ended

“BYUNGHUN!!! HEY WHERE THE HECK ARE U?!!! BYUNGHUN!!!”

“Daniel what’s wrong?” familiar voiced stopped him as niel turned to the owner of the voice to meet the eyes of his mother

“mother” niel rushed to the way where his mother was standing. “mother..byunghun’s missing. I woke up this morning and I found he wasn’t on his bed anymore!!!”

“ouw no need to worry sweetie..byunghoney has already left with ur father just now”

“h-he left? B-but…doesn’t he-“ “he’s fine. He already recovered from last night”

“but how? Doesn’t father say that he was poisoned by those drugs???”

“I don’t know sweetie. maybe it’s because of his healing power that make him recovered quickly. Thank God, he looks absolutely fine this morning”

“i-is that so?? That’s mean…he’s n-not dying right?”

“he’s not, don’t worry baby”

“aah…glad to hear that” heavy sigh escaped from niel’s mouth and his mother noticed him. “I don’t know what happened between u and byunghoney yesterday but what I know is, from last night incident, I could sense ur care toward ur brother and I’m very proud of u sweetie”

After the incident, byunghun learnt to stay away from niel and the other kids.

He would usually void himself rather be seen by niel. Realizing of the other avoidance, niel had once watched him from far, trying to protect him from danger or harm by the other kids when he wasn’t around the strange boy. He didn’t know why he’s doing this but his mother’s word was something too dear to him, too valuable that he can’t ignore. But at the same time, there was something in byunghun that he can’t deny he was attracted to. deep feeling that he can’t understand what it was.

 “hey it’s byunghun!!” one of the kids cried making niel turned his gaze toward the group then to the figure of whom the boy pointed to. He saw byunghun a little bit away from the group with a sac in his hands. niel hide himself so that he cannot be seen by them nor the poor boy.

One of the boy waded out of the river and grab the sac from byunghun’s hand. “ what are u doing walking
