They're at the birthday party of a mutual friend, Kibum, and Ryeowook has to keep leaning up to speak directly in Kyuhyun's ear so he can be heard over the pounding music.

Later that night, Ryeowook pushes Kyuhyun onto the bed and clambers over him, the alcohol in his veins making his fingers twitchy and impatient as he undoes Kyuhyun’s shirt. He peppers kisses along his scars and all the spaces in between, before shifting up to bruises into the dips and divots of his collarbones. But Kyuhyun’s real treat tonight is Ryeowook nosing along the sensitive rims of his ears, whispering filthily into them as he attaches his lips to their lobes and occasionally at the flesh there with fervent swipes of his tongue.

Kyuhyun wakes the next morning with Ryeowook’s cold nose tucked against his neck and several of his fingers resting limply against Kyuhyun’s left ear, as if he’d been it until he had fallen asleep.
