Hyomin:"who are you? why are you following me?" she asked as she tried to catch that person

Hyomin grabbed her hand and let her faced her. Hyomin took off her glasses and widened her eyes after seeing her face

Hyomin:"you...." she gasps and pauses as she see the face of that person "IU?"

IU:"unnie..." she looks down trying to avoid hyomin's eye contact

Hyomin:"why did you followed me?" she was still curious of being follwed by IU now, she let out a sigh and hands her her glasses

IU:"can we talk right now?" she ask lifting her face to Hyomin's

Hyomin:"sure"

Two girls went in to a cake shop nearby. They've ordered chocolate drink for it is IU's favorite. It was then silent, Hyomin kept on thinking on what will IU will talk about or vice versa.

IU:"i'm sorry for following you around..." holding her mug with hot chocolate drink on it

Hyomin:"it's okey" she leans her elbow on the table and her hands on her chin "so why were you following me?" she calmly ask

IU:"it was...umm" she scratch her neck and smiles awkwardly "actually, i've been checking on you, nowadays"

Hyomin:"y-you what?" she widened her eyes

IU:"it was just---" she let out a sigh "i was just so curious of you, like i don't know what had really happened between you and Jiyeon" she pouted

Hyomin:"do you perhaps know where she is?" she ask directly, expecting that IU, whose Jiyeon's bestfriend might knew about where she is

IU:"i'm afraid i don't" she looks down "and she'd never called me once since she left"

Hyomin:"but do you know that she will leave then?"

IU:"yes" she looks down as she felt the guilt towards Hyomin "but she told me not to tell you, not letting you know about her leaving"

Hyomin:"is jiyeon together with her parents right now?" she ask questions rapidly "like, i mean we all know that her parents work abroad right? and it's possible that she's with her..."

IU:"i'll bet she's not" she pauses "she don't want to disturb her parents though, you know how busy her parents right?"

Hyomin just looks down. She thinks that she has no more chance to see Jiyeon again, talking to IU who also don't know where she is. Hyomin thinks crazy stuffs like if she could just shout to the whole world and asks where Jiyeon is, or have such special powers where she can fly everywhere or can detect where she is. But reality is not, the reality is just that she don't know where she is right now.She left out a sigh.

IU:"unnie, i'll be honest with you" she slowly put her mug on the table "actually i've hated you before"

Hyomin:"me? why?"

IU:"i don't know but when Jiyeon said that you only felt sorry for her, she did cried a lot in my room that time"

Hyomin:"she said that to you? when?"

IU:"remember when i called you that night before jiyeon left?" she ask while raising her eyebrows

Hyomin:"yeah"

IU:"we lied to you. Actually she told me that day that she heared you and woohyun talking" she tilts her head "in a cake shop?"

Hyomin:"ahh--" she tries to replied IU back, but she end up think deeply of what had happened that time "so, it must be.."

IU:"so i planned to follow you to get sure if you really meant what you said before"

Hyomin:"no...it was, i just told woohyun about--" she tries to explain everything but IU pipes in

IU:"i understand you unnie.." she smiled "seeing you like this, observing you all the way and i found out that you'd been confused before..i know it's kinda hard for you too"

Hyomin just took a deep breath not even saying anything infront of IU. If only she could turned back time, she will definitely going to tell Jiyeon that night, that night that she decided that the person she loved was her.

IU:"you love her a lot unnie...and i've heared your conversation with woohyun recently"

Hyomin:"it was all my fault.."

IU:"no, it wasn't" she holds hyomin's hands "it was just all a misunderstanding, and jiyeon on the other hand was hurt too much back then so she directly let out a conclusion" she tries to comfort Hyomin whose eyes are prickling right now

IU:"unnie, you two hurted yourselves too much...like,  this things shouldn't end up like this"

Hyomin:"i've thought of it too, but its too late right?"

IU smiled to her to ease her worries.

IU:"no its not..i'll help you with this, if she'll call me i'll tell you directly and ask her where she is right now" she blurst out

Hyomin:"thank you IU-ah, youre such a good kid" she smiled a bit to IU

It was weekend and Hyomin found herself sulking in her room. She doesn't want to go home to her home town or just sleep either. She was laying on her bed staring at the bedside where Jiyeon used to sleep. She gets up hearing her phone rings, she's hesitating to answer, but if she'll not her mother will still contact her then.

Hyomin:"oh eomma"

"are you not going home right now again? we miss you so bad"

Hyomin:"sorry mom, i'll prepare myself then..i'm going home so don't worry okey?" she narrowed her eyes as she heared someone knocks at her door

"ok. we'll wait for you.."

Hyomin gets up and hangs up her phone, she slowly opened the door and saw the old lady who smiled at her brightly.

Owner:"have you been well hyomin?" she ask

Hyomin:"umm...yes halmeoni." she forcely smiled at her, lying that she was alright

Owner:"sorry to disturb you, but i have something to tell" 

Hyomin:"what is it halmeoni?"

Owner:"you'll having a new dormmate now" she stopped as she saw Hyomin's sad expression "but if you don't want to, i'll send her to other room then" she smiled a bit

Hyomin:"it's okey halmeoni, besides it's so boring without someone else in one room though" she laughs fakingly

Owner:"aigoo, you must miss her a lot" she patted Hyomin's back as she understands her

Hyomin:"yeah" she replied meekly

The old lady said her goodbyes and Hyomin prepared herself to go home. She didn;t get to visit them 2 weekends already, and she's sure that her parents misses her a lot. But that thing doesn't bother her, what bothers her the most is that her parents knew that she's been lonely in her dorm. Hyomin planned to not tell them everything, but its just that she can't control her feelings that time that she end up cried on her mothers shoulder. Her parents loves her so much, so they supported her no matter what. They understand her, the fact that she's inlove with Jiyeon, the fact that she's been crazy thinking about her. Hyomin thought that her parents will oppose to this kind of relationship, but in her surprise they even comfort her and told her to be strong. That this is all a part of life, that this is just a challenge.

Hyomin arrived at her home town and as usual her parents welcomed her with their smiles. They took their lunch together and had a conversation. She felt the warm love towards her parents, she was so blessed having a parents like them.

Hyomin went to her piano and tried to play a song. Right then she remembered Jiyeon again, the first time she went home with her, the pictures they took and the song she used to play before with her. She patted the empty sit imagining Jiyeon was sitting beside her, she closed her eyes and smiled. A smlie that fools herself, a smile that doesn't even mean anything.

Hyomin:"you were here, sitting next to me....like it was all, yesterday" she cried again and wipes it quickly when she heared her mom call her

HMother:"Youre still thinking about her?" she ask calmly as she went nearer and sit beside Hyomin

Hyomin:"it was hard mom, it was really hard" she looks down trying to hide her tears

HMother:"things like that werent easy, hyomin-ah" she patted her back "but as time passes, without even realizingm pain will just fade away" she smiled

Hyomin:"but how could the pain fade away when whenever the places i've been, whatever all the things i'll do i still think of her..." she tries to wipe her tears slowly and sniffles "i'm sorry mom, i've been too dramatic nowadays" she chuckled

HMother:"i don't want you to see like that dear" she hugged her

Hyomin:"i love her mom, i really love her" she cries again

Hyomin's mother let out a sigh. She can't even cure her daughter's pain right now. Just where did that Jiyeon go really? She ask herself and desperately hoping that this pain inside hyomin, will fade away, to see her smile again, to see her cheerful daughter again.

HMother:"it's okey, mom is here..." she patted her back "cry it out, okey?"

Hyomin requested to her mother to just leave her alone in her room. She wants to think it hard, like how to forget her? How to forget her love from Jiyeon just like she fades away? How can she overcome this? This feeling inside her, this pain she's been suffering...how long will it take to fade it away?

Hyomin went back to her dorm lazily. She feels like she don't want to go to her school and just layed her body to her bed, all day. She feels like she's tired crying all the way. She chuckled as she remembered when she that made Jiyeon avoid her eye contact.

Hyomin:"stupid kid....how have you been huh?" she gets up and went to jiyeon's bed. 

Hyomin:"you surely forget about me that easy huh? was it hard? ani---was it easy to just leave me and forget me like that?" she pouted as tears falling from her eyes

Hyomin:"do you even loved me jiyeon?" she looks down, trying to wake herself up. She's not dreaming right now nor she's in the dreamland. She's sobbing again, she punched the bed slowly and cried out loud

Hyomin:"unfair...its so unfair jiyeon!" she tries to calm herself down but she can't. She's like an idiot right now, laughing while crying. She buried her face on the bed and slowly lifted it when she heared the creaking of the door

"you miss me that much?" she quickly turns her head to the familiar voice came from

Hyomin widened her eyes as she tries to get up. She gasps, not believing of she just saw toiday

Hyomin:"j......." she stop herself from crying again and continues "Jiyeon?" 

Jiyeon:"Hi! i'm back" she smiled brigthly
