Confronting Kim Jongin
The Journey That Lead Her To HimIt was 5pm and the Nams were settled back into their house 2 hours ago. Mina was laying in her bed. Thoughts filled with her and Jongin. She was distracted by her door opening. Thinking it was just her brother, but then she saw two people flop onto her bed. She lifts her head up and finds Jiyeon and Soojin on her bed.
“I love you guys, but what the heck are you guys doing here?!”
“The parents miss each other already” Jiyeon starts.
“haha we're here for dinner” Soojin explains.
“Who else is here?” Mina was curious if Jongin was also in her house.
“Jongdae, Chanyeol and Jongin are in the basement with Woohyun.” Jiyeon answers.
“-sigh-” Mina drops her head back onto the bed.
“What wrong Mina?” Soojin asked
“I did something I kinda regret” Soojin and Jiyeon look at each other a little worried.
“What happened?” The girls asked in unison. Mina tells them about how her and Jongin were going to talk about the whole “I like you” but it all failed. After finishing the part of when she texted Jongin about talking about their situation in person and no reply from the guy, Mina looked at her friends.
“WHAT?!” Jiyeon and Soojin's mouths were open.
“HUSH! He's downstairs remember. Plus you know the guys, they could just burst into my room any anytime.”
“So what are you gonna do now?” Soojin asks.
“I don't know. I'm scared to bring it up again.” Mina admits.
“He already knows you want to talk to. Don't be scared anymore. You guys can try tonight since were all here.” Jiyeon suggests.
“i guess you're right.”
“Come on just text him and mention a place and time to meet up.” Soojin adds on.
“Guys, dinner is ready” Woohyun pops his head into his sister's room.
The 3 leave Mina's bedroom and went downstairs to eat dinner. After, they head to the basement to hang out.
“hey, where's my brother?” Mina notices her missing brother.
“He had to meet up with a friend. He said he'll be back later.” Jongdae answers.
In the basement, they all hung out, watched TV, and started a random jam session. Mina sat couch furthest away from everyone and watched her friends perform live. It hit Mina that this would be a nice time for her and Jongin to talk. She took out her phone and wrote a text for Jongin.
“Hey, can we talk. I'm at the couch near the stairs.”
Satisfied, Mina pressed send. She watched Jongin as he receives the text. He looks at Mina and the two make eye contact. He looks back at his phone and replies back.
“Do we have to now? Can't we
