[The school holidays start next week. And Ilan have something to  say to Dira (not bad news yet)] 

Dira, you know how next week we will start school holiday? 

Yah. What about it? 

[looking sad] Well you see, from the beginning of the holiday, for 2 weeks I will be at Busan at my appa's parent house. 

Oooo I see. Then why you look so sad? It isn't fun going to visit your grandparent? 

Its fun. but....[Making Dira feel worry].... I just wont get to bully you. 

Yah! I thought something bad was going to happen. I'm goin to kill you for this...!

[Dira chase after Ilan] 

[The school holidays start. Ilan was at Busan and Dira? well she doesn't feel very well. Her sickness grew worse day by day. On the 4th day Dira's brother decide to bring her to the hospital for a check up. This is when she found out the bad news...] 

[Looking worriedly] Doctor, how is my sister's condition? 

[Sigh] How should I put this... you see we have found that your sister is having cancer. 

[The room was silent]

Her illness can be cured right? 

[another sigh and then the doctor continues...] 

I'm so sorry but you sister's cancer is at critical level. It can't be cured no longer. 

[After hearing the bad news, Dira's face became pale and paler every day. She have became week.]

[Two weeks have gone pass by. And that day come for Ilan to return home. As soon as he arrived he straight away paid a visit to his bestest friend Dira]

[Looking shock] Dira? what happen to you? You look pale. 

I'm ill you silly ! 

[He smirked] Just because I leave you alone for two weeks you already became ill? Why? Did you missed me?. . 

[Dira went silent]

[Another two week went pass and Dira's face still look pale] 

[At the tree house]

Dira, seriously tell me what is wrong with you? After I came back, you harldy talk to me. You hardly come to school anymore and you hardly come out and play anymore. 

Alright. Lets go and play. 

That not what I mean. 

No. Really, I want to take some fresh air. 

[They decide to play basketball. Not long after the game start that Dira fainted.]

[10 minutes later] 

Dira! Dira! Yah! Wake up! [Shaking her body] 

Ha? What? [Looking unconcious] 

[Looking relieved] [Sigh] Thank God you're okay. You really scared me to death.

[Dira just smile] 

Aigoo... I was really worried about you, all you did is just smiling. Aish~ 

[Dira stands us and take a long breath]

Actually there is something that I must tell you. I'm sorry I have kept it a secret. 

Oh yeah? What is it? 

I have ... C...Cancer... [Looked down to the floor] 

Ha? Hahahahaha. You got me that time. 

[Dira was silent with tears running down her cheeks] 

It's not a joke is? ....But...but how? how long have you known? How can you not tell me? I thought we're best friend.

Ilan wait! Listen to me please. [He sat back down] I've known it while you were in Busan during the school holidays. I didn't... I mean I couldn't tell you because I don't want you to worry about me and I know if I tell you, you will treat me differently and feel sorry for me. I can assure you I don't need that! 

Yah... But... [He has a lot to say but his mouth was shut tightly] 

[The silence surrounded the atmosphere. Before they knew, Ilan's hand was already on top of Dira's and you could he tears falling down his cheeks] 

Dira... I still can't accept this. 

Ilan... [Low tone] Saranghaeo..

[Ilan was shocked which then lead him to pinching himself. He now knows for sure that he isn't in a dream] 

But... why now? Why are you telling me now? 

Because I don't have the guts to tell you before. Plus I noticed that the way you treats me like brother treating at his sister. 

Really? Would a brother do this to his sister? 

[Ilan come closed towards Dira and start to kiss her] 

Would he? 

[Dira went blushed. She just smile]

Yosh! I've come to a desicion. Let get married! 

What? [Her voice went high again] Have you gone mad? We're only 16 years old! 

We get married in secret silly. Ah~ Hold on. Stay right here! Don't go anywhere! 

[Ilan grab his bike and rushed straight away. Dira just watched him until he was no where in sight]
