In 2011 18 year old Song Hanbyul was an all-round talented trainee at SM Entertainment, dreaming of the day when she would debut and become a star loved by many.  

Now, in 2015 she's a single mother of a 4 year old boy working odd jobs to try and earn a living. She still reminisces about her days as a trainee and reflect on what would have happened if she hadn't been so stupid back then, so blinded by the ones she loved. 

But now all that's in the past and Hanbyul is trying hard to forget for the sake of her new life with her son. However, it is hard to forget when the person she is trying to forget the most is everywhere she looks, whether it is on newspapers, Tvs or on the internet.

And trying to forget the past gets especially hard when her son - little Hwan (meaning to be back) - starts asking about his daddy. 

But Baekhyun is living his own life now; a life of fame and fortune.

A life that Hanbyul is no longer part of...

A/N: The reason I decided to create this story is to shine light upon the various problems that people face as a teenager and mixing it up with the problems that trainees face. 

To be honest, not everything doesn't go the way you plan in life and I'm sure there are a lot of people that we don't know about who become trainees but never debut. 

I'm thinking this story will be quite angsty but don't worry it will have those fluffy moments too :)

This is my first exo fic so I hope people enjoy reading this fic as much as I will writing it xD
