Little Star
FloodedFive days had passed since Minseok’s arrival and Luhan had neither seen nor gained any new information about his new Korean neighbor. The only interaction between the two, if you could call it that, was when Luhan would be woken by the sound of the tenant next door’s shower running and faintly heard singing in Korean.
The voice was hard to pick out over the sound of the water, but what he could discern really left a lasting impression on him. Every morning he felt like he was growing more and more attached to the person on the other side of the wall, even though his existence was probably completely unknown to his Little Star.
That Sunday morning Luhan woke even before the shower next door was running, which indicated to him that it was well before sun up. Little Star liked to start his days early, but Luhan was normally a late riser so more often than not he went back to sleep after the ‘mini concert a la shower’ was over.
Luhan had been woken by the jarring sound of his phone vibrating on the hard surface of his bed side table.
This one short conversation with his uncle, the soon to be CEO of Affluent Hotels, was about to flip is life on end all over again.
