It's okay....

Please, forget me

Taehyung replayed the conversation in his head that he had with Jin earlier that day.  He knew it was starting to become too much,  but the times he didn't interact with Hoseok left him feeling a little more empty than the last time he did.  He missed the way his smile would reach his eyes and turning them into half moons, or even the way his lips would form the shape of a heart as he smiled.  What he really miss is the touch,  the slight ruffle of his hair that Hoseok always ruffled before he would leave.

Hoseok on the other hand was starting to get frustrated,  because when he would go and hang out with his best friend Jimin and the rest of their dance crew,  they would have to teach Hoseok what he taught them the day he can't remember. It's always up to a certain part that he can't seem to understand, why everything goes blank. He tries to remember everything about the moment but everything gets lost and his head begins to hurt.

Hoseok usually has a lot of time to get to dance practice,  but today he was running late. With classes about to start back up and trying to get his stuff ready to move into his dorm room, let's just say he was in over his head.

Taehyung began to worry as he didn't see Hoseok at his usual time,  his feet leading him out of the alley and more on to the street. "Where are you?" he asked himself as his eyes peered around the street.

"Jimin, is going to kill me" Hoseok said as he grabbed on to his knapsack straps and started running as he replayed their conversation about switching the dance practice, because Jimin just knew it would be really tight schedule for them both.  Hoseok had refused saying that he can do it,  and that he is great at multitasking,  which he normally is, but with lapse in memory getting the better of him, he easily lost track of time.

By the time Taehyung notice the heavy breathing and the heavy footsteps pounding the pavement, it was too late for him to move out of his way, without creating a scene for people who filled the street. By the time he turned around Hoseok ran dead smack into him, making both of them tumble to the floor.

Taehyung grabbed onto Hoseok making sure he takes the full blow from the fall, not caring about the cut to his elbows from scraping on the ground.

"I am so sorry" Hoseok said as he scrambled to his feet.

Taehyung just sits up on the ground, checking his elbows to see how bad it is. He has seen worse, but this could. use some stitches.  He looks around to see what could have given him this gash just below his elbow on his right arm, and of course small broken glass pieces scattered on the ground, by a broken garbage bag.

", did I do that to you? " Hoseok began to panic as he sees the blood dripping from Taehyung's right arm.

"it's okay" Taehyung said.

"No it isn't, look" the black hair guy practically yells as he points at the ground stained with Taehyung's blood.

"A little clean up with some meds and a band aid and I'm good as new" Taehyung said trying to lighten the mood as he notice a sad feeling flooding Hoseok surrounding.

"You need more than a band-aid" Hoseok said as he leaned down to help Taehyung to his feet.

Both their eyes locked as Hoseok's hand came in contact with Taehyung arm, shocking the both of them with static. Tae was the first to break eye contact and standing up on his own, leaving a shocked Hoseok.

"I will go to hospital, I am sure you have other things you need to do" the sandy blonde guy said as he ripped the bottom of his shirt, getting ready to cover his wound.

Truth be told, he didn't need a doctor, he could easily heal himself on his own, but he didn't for two reasons. One,  like the other times before, he loves how Hoseok is such a caring person towards him, even though he is a stranger in his eyes. Two,  it would draw too much attention if his gaping wound under his right elbow just closed up, despite the blood stain on the ground and pants.

"I can't just leave you like this, when I got you hurt like this" the dark hair guy said as he took the ripped shirt from Taehyung's hand and tied it around his wound. "They can wait" Hoseok said as he took hold of Taehyung's left wrist and started walking towards the side walk so he could flag a taxi down.

"Why does he care so much, and why do I like that he cares? " Tae questioned himself, as he felt the goosebumps form from his wrist all the way up his arm from his obsession touch. He couldn't help but feel drawn to the guy who didn't let go of his wrist, even though he tried to pull away, but was met with a stare and fingers tightening around his wrist.

Hoseok finally manages to flag down a cab, which warned them not to get any blood on his seat. Taehyung rolled his eye at that, of all things to say, he just had to say that. The taxi driver was a prime example of the annoyed humans that Taehyung couldn't stand. He sees Tae is injured and bleeding and he makes sure he stops at every light, even before the light is yellow or the countdown is done for walking. All because he wants to get as much money out of the possible.

"Can you go a little faster please, he has lost a lot of blood" Hoseok finally spoke up, growing impatient with how the taxi driver is going.

"It's okay" Tae said as he turned his attention to Hoseok.

The way Hoseok looked at him, practically made his heart skip a beat. The sincerity behind those eyes, that said he was sorry, didn't need the words.

"I'll give you an extra $10 if you get us to the hospital as soon as possible" Hoseok continued. The taxi driver picked up the pace and stopped being the of a driver he was. It would only be like a $10 ride, the hospital wasn't too far from where they got the taxi.

Hoseok practically runs into the hospital, pulling Taehyung along with him. "I need some help, my..." he pauses and  turns to look back at Taehyung. "Hold on, I don't even know your name" the sandy blond guy couldn't help the small smile that found its way on his face.

"What happened to him?" a nurse asked as she made her way towards them with a doctor following behind with interns.

"I ran into him and we fell" Hoseok started to explain, "by accident, I was running late and was caught up in my own thoughts" he continued to explain as the doctor and nurse started to give him a weird look.

"It was an accident, I told him I am okay, but he insist that he takes me to the hospital" Taehyung tries to explain.

"Good thing he brought you in, you will definitely need at least six stitches, this looks deep" the doctor said as he unwrapped their make shift bandage for Taehyung's wound. "Why don't you fill out his paperwork while we fix up your friend" the doctor suggested.

"I don't know...." the dark hair guy started to reply, but was cut off as Taehyung threw him his wallet. Everything in it was fake. If there ever was a need for personal information, they had made id's and an address available. SeokJin is his guardian, although Jin doesn't like to be called that.

"Everything should be in there that you might need." Taehyung said before he was put into a cubicle and the curtains closing.

Hoseok walked over to registration, as he opened up Taehyung's wallet, looking for personal ID information. The picture on the id looked so, he doesn't know how to quite put it, but it's as if he has no interest in anything, and just wants to get away from it all. No smile, no fake smile or any kind of emotion really. It was just a stiff facial expression, which made Hoseok wonder, why he had that expression on, when he saw much more in him, than the picture let on.

"Are you going to pay?" the voice of the nurse at registration called Hoseok out of his thoughts?

"How much?" he asked.

"$60 for it, you guys didn't come in an ambulance right?" she query.

"No, we came in a taxi" he replied.

"Okay, $60 it is" she says.

Hoseok, paid Taehyung's hospital bill, feeling bad that he is the one who caused him to be injured. He took the time to text Jimin and apologize about being late. Of course Jimin was annoyed, but he expected this to happen, so he wasn't too upset, he was rather more concerned about his best friend becoming forgetful and losing track of time.

Half an hour passed, and Hoseok was getting a little tired, sitting in the waiting area by himself.

"Where is he?" a frantic voice came running into the hospital. He looked around not really focusing on anything till he saw the receptionist desk.

"How may I help you?" the nurse Hoseok was speaking to asked, as she came out of her spot she was in, to address him.

"I got a call that my brother was in a small accident and is at this hospital" he explained.

"What's his name? I will help you locate him" the nurse said as she leads the guy to her station.

"Taehyung, Kim Taehyung" he said as he sits down.

"Sorry to eavesdrop on your conversation" Hoseok interjected himself as he tries to look at the person who is looking for Taehyung. "Are you SeokJin?" he asks.

"Yes and you are..." as soon as he saw his face, he knew who he was, he didn't need to ask. What he couldn't understand was why Taehyung was in the hospital.

"I am so sorry, i didnt mean to hurt your brother" he began to say, words leaving his mouth faster than usual. "It was an accident, I wasn't looking where I was going and ran right into him" he continued to say as he notice Jin's eyes studying him.

As Jin studied him, he can understand what Taehyung was telling him, that there was just something special about him, the way he would light up, even though you can tell he has a dark past. Although Hoseok wasn't smiling, Jin's still able to get a reading on him, one they wouldnt expect usually in a situation like this.

"It's okay, he gets into these kind of things often" Jin said, trying to ease Hoseok's mind, knowing that's exactly what Taehyung would want. He wanted to take away the darkness, not add to it.

"You two really are related, if you saw his arm, you wouldn't think it was okay" Hoseok said as he nervously places his right hand behind his neck.

Just as Jin was about to say something to Hoseok, Taehyung walked out.

"Hey you didn't..." his voice cut off as he notices Jin standing with Hoseok."What are you doing here?" he ask.

"I was told you were in a small accident" Jin said nonchalant as he looked at Taehyung and then towards Hoseok with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh it wasn't a big deal, he just made it bigger than it was" Tae replied as he looks at Jin, warning him not to say anything he wouldn't want Hoseok to know.

Hoseok couldn't help but smile at the two of them. That's how family should be he thinks, caring and will be there for you, regardless of how small it was. He really missed it, he missed having someone he can run and talk to about anything he that was on his mind.

His phone started ringing, stopping all conversation and all eyes on him.

"Hey Jimin, sorry, I am still at the hospital" Hoseok looked over at the two in front of him and mouthing sorry, as he took his best friend's phone call.

"Ya, how long till you get here, I can't make them stay here forever you know" Jimin whined.

Taehyung pulled Jin to the side giving Hoseok some privacy, he really didn't want to invade on his privacy.

"What did you say to him?" the sandy blond guy demanded.

"Nothing, just that you're my brother" Jin replied.

A heavy sigh of relief left Taehyung's mouth as he looked back at Hoseok, who was still on the phone with Jimin.

"I see why you like him" Jin said as studies the colors surrounding Hoseok, as he talks on the phone. "But I think you should let it all play out and see what happens" he continued to say as he turns his focus back to the younger one before him.

"You know why I can't do that" Tae replied as his voice coming out more like a whisper than anything.

"Yeah I know, but at the same time, I haven't seen you this interested in anything in a long time, even back home. He makes you different somehow, and I am just wondering how much he can change you" Jin said as he recalls the way, the smile would find its way on Taehyung's face, the way his eyes lit up as he explained the way Hoseok looked at him. Jin knew that Hoseok was special to Taehyung before Taehyung even realized it himself. Having fallen for someone himself, he knows the signs of falling without even noticing.

"But I don't want to hurt him more than he is hurting" Tae said as he looked at Hoseok, who was finally getting off the phone with his friend.

"What about you?" Jin asked. "What about you falling for him, but keeping it all inside, doesn't that hurt?" he reiterated his question.

"It hurts, but then I think about his smile and it makes all worthwhile" he simply replies.

"What if you could get more than just the smile, what if you could hear him laugh and it's like music to your ears." Jin retorts.

"I don't know, I just want to get out of here" Tae replied and began walking towards Hoseok, not wanting to have this conversation in the hospital.

"You don't have to worry about the bill, I already paid for it" Hoseok said as he hands Taehyung a piece of paper.

"You didn't have to" Taehyung said.

"I wanted to." Hoseok flashed the smile that Taehyung has long to see. "Besides it's my fault you are here".

"Thanks" was all Taehyung could say as he couldn't take his eyes off the dark hair guys face that held the smile.

"Cute" Hoseok said as he ruffled Taehyung's hair. "I got to go, my number is on that paper" he said as he pointed in the folded paper in Taehyung's hand. "Call me if you need to get medicine or if something happens to your cut okay."

"Umm...okay" Taehyung replied, not really sure of what to do, as Hoseok turned to walk away.

"Oh..."Tae said as he realized, he didn't get to say what he always says when he meets him. "Hoseok" he calls, making the other turn around.

"It's okay" Jin cut in, not giving Taehyung a chance to do what he knows he is going to do. As the conversation he had with Taehyung earlier that day played back in his mind

"How long are you going to keep doing this?" Jin asks.

"I don't know" the sandy blonde guy replies.

"Well you better figure this out, who knows what you are doing to him, every time you make him forget" Jin continues to say as he looks at his friend with concern.

"I know but I don't want to scare him, or lose him altogether" Tae replied feeling defeated by his situation in front of him.

"Go ahead, I will take things from here" Jin continued to say as he waved at Hoseok, sending him off.

"Okay, bye, and I'm sorry for what I did today" he said as he turned back around, putting a little pep in his step, trying to make his way towards his original destination.
