"If a clock could count down to the moment you meet your soulmate, would you want to know?"
Timers on their wrists that count down time. Two people that are destined to be together have the same time, the same countdown on thier wrists until they meet who they were made for. Soulmates. But I don't have a time on my wrist, mine had stopped. I watch as all of my friends find their soulmates and I pretend to be happy for them but on the inside, I am slowly breaking down. Do I not have a soulmate? Is there no one for me to love out there?

Foreword
My breath caught in my throat as I glanced down to my wrist, to the time that was steadily ticking down to the moment that I would meet my soulmate. I felt like I was about to faint, there was so much pressure placed on my shoulders. Somewhere out there, there was a person with the same time on their wrist. What were they doing right now? Were they just as nervous as I was about our meeting?
Two minutes was all that was left.
I glanced around the street as I wiped my sweaty palms on my skirt. Wide eyes searched the area, looking for that one person that would be mine forever. My throat tightened and I shuffled my feet as I looked down once again.
One minute until I get to see his face.
