Face the past

It's been a week since that night. Hanel is delighted with her father and although Chaerin doesn't say it, she is happy about this. But she doesn't  want Hanel to get too close to him, one day they will have to return to their so called "home" and to their old life. Chaerin is in the kitchen preparing something to eat when she hears the doorbell and has to open the door.

"Hello!" Jiyong says and makes his way into the house. 

"What are you doing here?" she asks and walks behind him.

"I come to pick up Hanel, I want to spend the day with her." He coldly says and continues walking until he enters in the living room.

"Do you think it's a good idea?" Chaerin asks again. Yes, she is afraid.

"Do you think I'm not able to take good care of her?" 

Actually she is was afraid that Hanel will develop affection for him enough to refuse to go back with her. She knows perfectly well that this can happen. Chaerin is about to speak again when Hanel enters the room, running into her father's arms.

"Daddy!" Hanel exclaims while she is hugging Jiyong. 

"Hey sweetie!" Chaerin looks at them and sighs. Jiyong notices it. "Chae, wanna come with us?" He suddenly asks her. Chaerin is surprised, she wasn't expecting it. 

"Yes mommy, come with us please." Hanel says putting her puppy eyes. She doesn't know what to say, maybe it isn't a good idea.. But she accepts the invitation.

"Okay."

Jiyong smiles. After all, he wants to spend time with her. On the way, they decide to go to a park. Hanel asks him to bring one of his dogs with them, for entertain herself playing with it. There, Jiyong and Chaerin keep quiet, neither of the two dare to say something to each other.Chaerin goes to a bench and sits there staring into nothing. Other memories are flying through her head.

Jiyong and Chaerin are walking in the park. After finished the practices earlier, he asked her out so they would relax and spend some time together. They are both very nervous, neither of two dared to say something. Jiyong wants to confess, tell her about his feelings and ask her to be his girl. Chaerin feels that he is planning something, she knows him very well. 

"Hunchae wait for me here, I'm going to buy you a drink, okay?" Jiyong says. Chaerin nods and sit on one of the benches which are there. She waits for several minutes, but he doesn't appear.. He was left her alone in a park? Of course not. Jiyong returns with his guitar and sits beside her starting to play and sing the song he had written himself. His first song.. and it is for her.
Chaerin is excited, he had just confessed to her. He loves her.. as much as she loves him. 

"Hunchae.. would you like be mine?" He asks her, puts his guitar aside and approaches her. He passes his hand across her shoulders and looks deeply into her eyes.

"I would love to." She answers. She is expecting for another move from Jiyong but he just stays in his position, does nothing more than look at her."Yes oppa, I want to be your girlfriend." She says again and he smiles. Then he moves closer to her and captures her lips into a sweet kiss. Their first kiss..

Jiyong walks toward her with Hanel who is almost sleeping in his arms. Chaerin comes back to reality when she see them.

"Chae, I think we should go now. It's raining and Hanel is sleepy already." Jiyong says and Chaerin nods and follows him to his car.

Jiyong also remembers the moment. He knows perfectly this bench, there is no way to forget it. But he opts to keep silent.
They come to Jiyong's house and quickly they enter in because it was raining. What should they expecting on a cold day of autumn? Jiyong picks Hanel with his arms and carries her into a room to sleep peacefully. Chaerin stays in the living room, wondering why are they here.

"Why didn't you take me to my parent's home?"

"Because is late already and it's raining too. My house is nearer." He replies giving her a towel to dry herself.

"Thanks for the towel."
