Dark
Till Death Do We Part
Authoress Notes: This ties in with the chapter before Breathe Again. I'd also like to point out again that since this is a drabble series the stories / drabbles may not all link together so where as one chapter may be all angsty the next can be completely fluffy. I'm sorry for the confusion. It's just that I pick out prompts which I have ideas for type it out and post it. :3
I hope you all aren't too confused and I'm sorry the first few drabbles are already so angsty. ;~;
I love you all! And thank you so much for all those who have already subscribed / commented. <3
The darkness that filled your vision was almost too much to bear. Sobs escaped your lips as you made your way down the streets of Seoul ignoring the stares you were receiving. You couldn’t accept the fact. You couldn’t accept anything.
The ring which rested on your left ring finger stabbed at your being. Again tears began to run down your cheeks as his words began to replay in your mind.
“I’m sorry … but … he’s no longer with us.” The elder male mumbled, watching was your eyes widened in shock.
It was only a year or two. A year since you saw him, a year since he left for the mandatory military enlistment. A year ….
“He’s dead.” Doojoon murmured sadly, sorrow filling his eyes as he felt tears begin to form. It was hard for anyone to accept the fact; it was hard for him to even tell you. His fingers wrapped around your wrists as he tried to pull you into a hug, as he tried to tell you that you shouldn't dwell on the fact, that Dongwoon wouldn't have been happy.
Though instead you broke free from his grasp and ran off and now … under the dark skies of Seoul, where the rain pattered softly around you … you couldn’t see the light anymore. You could only see the darkness surrounding you.
