Breathe Again
Till Death Do We Part
Your heart stilled, your breathing came to a stop and everything in time seemed to slow down. Your eyes slowly widened and you couldn’t help but wonder how much of the information given to you was true. Slowly you backed away from the male before you, your fingers trembling at the thought.
“You … you can’t be serious right?” You muttered softly, your mind racing and your heart pulsing. Tears seemed to prick at the corner of your eyes as his fingers wrapped around your wrists gently.
“I’m really sorry ….” He murmured his eyes filled with sorrow. You jerked away from him instinctively, the pain too much to bear, the love that once filled your every being slowly crumbling. Again you shook your head before breaking out into a run.
You couldn’t find it in you to breathe again, because the pain … was just too much to bear.
