"Eun-Ji?"

"Huh?" You didn't bother looking up from the novel you were reading.

"Could you help me with this problem?" The person asked shyly.

"Yeah sure!" You closed your novel to see who it was that needed help.

"Oh... Taek Woon... I didn't realize it was you." You started to blush. The boy you have had a crush on since forever was standing in front of you asking for help, YOUR help.  He always interested you in class, he kept to himself and when he did speak you were all ears. When he would smile you felt like you could fly, his smile was to die for. No joke.

"I asked around and the majority of people suggested you."

"Oh really? What subject?" It wasn't a surprise that various students recomended you. You always made the highest scores on all of your tests. Everything just came easy to you.

"It's English... I'm pretty lousy at it." He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

QUIT BEING SO CUTE! You couldn't help but shouting that internally.

"I'll try the best of my abilities." You smiled at him.

He couldn't help but smile back.

An hour later, you had gotten him through his homework understanding more than when he first started.

"Gomawo." He bowed respectfully.

You stood up stretching your tired limbs," No problem. If you need anymore help later on you know where to find me." You gestured around the library.

"Cool, see you later!" He waved cutely then left.

Once you were sure he was completely gone you plopped on the couch and let out a sigh of relief.

"I'm so glad I could control my heart the entire time....well not the whole time." You remembered secretly glancing at his face when he was busy understanding another random English phrase. This memory brought a smile to your lips.

"Eun-Ji."

"Yeah?" This time you were distracted by the most recent fanfic.

"Could you help me again?"

"Yeah sure." Once more you were surprised to see Jung Taek Woon in front of you.

"What is the problem today?"  You asked happily.

"I can't get the letter "G" right for this poster I need to make." He pouted.

"Okay, I'll help, let me see an eraser,pencil and your hands." He gathered the supplies handing it to you obediantly.

"Now remember how I write this, okay?" You took his dominant hand in yours and began to write out the letter "G" slow enough for him to be able to do it again.

"There, just continue doing that and you'll get it eventually."

"Gomawo." He replied focused on his hand movements.

Suddenly his phone began to ring.

"Yeoboseyo?" His eyes widdened.

"I need to leave, see you tomorrow." He rushed out the door.

What was that about? Your eyes wandered around the room stopping on an object. His backpack. You ran outside to find him when it started pouring rain.

"Dang it... now he really needs it." Attached to his backpack was a black umbrella.

"Aish..." You walked back inside stopping at one of the door windows. It was Taek Woon. You were about to walk in, but you noticed he wasn't alone. He was with a girl to be exact. Kim-dae, the prettiest girl in school. All the boys followed her like a puppy.

Why is he with her?  Before you knew it Kim-Dae  had her face to his. You instantly dropped his bag along with your heart. You quickly ran back to the library to grab your things before he could discover what you saw.

"Eun-Ji, where are you going?"

You froze in your tracks hearing his soft voice.

"Uh... an emergency came up and I need to leave." You lied not daring to look at his face.

"Oh... really?" He sounded disappointed.

"Yeah." You brushed past him into the harsh weather.

Once you felt the water touch your skin, your tears began to mix with the rain.

Babo! Of course he likes her! You're just a geek who helps with homework, you never had a chance! These words stung your heart with venom.

"Eun-Ji!"

Was that Taek Woon's voice?

"Eun-Ji!" He shouted again confirming your suspicion.

"Yeah?" You stayed where you were.

He ran up to you putting his umbrella over your head.

"You could catch a cold." He mumbled quietly.

"I wouldn't care." You told him flatly pushing past him once again.

"Eun-Ji." He grabbed your wrist turning you to face him.

"Leave me alone! Just go to Kim-Dae with your questions! Quit making me love you when you were planning to just shove it back down my throat!" You boomed along with the thunder.

"You... saw that?"

"Yeah, I did. It doesn't matter because I don't care anymore, have fun." You saluted him with two fingers and walked out from the protection of the umbrella.

"I love you!" You froze wide eyed. He said it perfectly in English.

You turned around gawking at him.

He stepped closer.

"What did you say?" Without answering, he grabbed you pulling you into a kiss. Breaking the blissful moment, he reluctantly pulled away.

"Did I say it right? I practiced all week on getting it right."

You nodded your head, "You said it perfectly."

"What you saw in there was a girl trying to hang on to something that wasn't hers in the first place." He still noticed your uneasy expression. "It wasn't special to me." You smiled.

He slung his arm around your waist and walked you home with the rain beating on the impenetrable umbrella.
