Jinri was in rush.

The phone call she received earlier when she was at the editor building was sending adrenaline through her whole body.The sound of her mother sobbings was clearly stating that her grandmother condition was getting worsen.She can't be too late to look at her face for the last time.

Jinri parked her pink scooter and rushingly forwarding her steps without bothering to take the helmet off.She barged inside her grandmother's ward,kneeling right after the old woman stretched her hand to reach the girl's face.Jinri took her grandmother's hand and softly caressing it on her cheek,

‘Grandma,’ like a big lump stucked on ,Jinri can't hold her tears any longer.‘please don't leave me. . .’

Her grandmother's breath through the oxygen mask,slowly caressing her granddaughter's soft cheek and smiled,

‘Jinri-ah,glad you come.’ she paused,coughing,‘I thought I won't see your pretty face anymore.’

The tears she had been holding eventually broke.Jinri's hand tightly gripping on the old hands,not wanting to let it go while her mother patting her shoulder from behind,soothing her down.

‘I have something to tell you,’ the old woman carved a weak smile,‘before I meet God in Heaven.’

‘Grandma. . .’ Jinri pressed her lip,‘Please don't say that.You still deserve to live in this world.’

Her grandmother shook her head,‘No,Jinri.I don't have much time in this world anymore.’ she paused for taking a breath,‘Just let grandma said what had I kept from you all over the years.’

Jinri nodded,not awaring of anything what her grandmother is going to say.Her parents behind her was giving worried face each other,perhaps they already know what will the old woman said to their only daughter.
