Chapter 9
Maid to be With You [REPOST]
[flashback]
“Junsu honey, don’t go too far okay?”
“Yes Mommy!”
Little Junsu smiled as he shut the sliding door behind him and ran across the huge yard. He ran and ran until he ran out of breath. He lay down on the grass and stared at the huge blue sky. Junsu started naming the clouds as they started forming into animals. After naming all the clouds Junsu could find, he decided that it was time to go home. As he got up, he noticed a wall of bamboos not too far from him. The bamboos seem to end their territory there.
“Hmm….Mommy did say to not go far….but I wonder what’s over there.” Junsu slowly made his way over to the bamboos, and started separating them, creating a small trail for him. The wall of bamboo seems to go on and on, but Junsu didn’t turn back. After pushing his way through all of the bamboo, Junsu came across—[/flashback]
“Master Kim?”
Junsu groaned and stir as he slowly adjusts to his surroundings. He was no longer digging through the bamboos; instead, he was at home, in his bed, with Min standing at the end of his bed.
“What is it Min?”
“What would you like for breakfast today?”
Junsu got up and stared at Min.
“Anything’s fine.”
“Cereal?”
“No.”
“But you said anything…”
“Why are you even here asking?”
Min shrugged her shoulders. “Ri-In unni is sick in bed, so I’m cooking.”
“Ri-In’s sick?”
Min nodded. Junsu got out of bed and walked to his walk in closet. “Cereal’s fine!”
“Is she okay?”
Mrs.Chu looked up and smiled at Junsu. “She’ll be fine. Just running a little fever. It was pretty chilly last night.”
[flashback] SPLASH!
Junsu turned around and saw Ri-In struggling in the water, trying to reach the flower.
“AISH!” Junsu dropped his towel and jumped in after Ri-In again.[/flashback]
“Y-yeah it was.”
Mrs.Chu raised an eyebrow at Junsu. “Junsu, did you just stutter? Do you know WHY Ri-In’s sick?”
“Of course not! Why would I?”
“Hmm…well, since you’re here, watch Ri-In while I watch over Min. She’ll burn the whole house down just making cereal.” Junsu nodded as Mrs.Chu got up from Ri-In’s bedside and walked out of the small cottage.
Junsu slowly made his way over and sat down next to the sleeping Ri-In. He slowly placed hand on her forehead, only to discover how hot it was. Junsu shook his head and started wiping her face his a cool towel. When he came across her lips, he suddenly stopped and drop the towel back into the water basin. [flashback] She looked up at Junsu and whispered, “Junsu...what happen to you? Did you really forgot me? Junsu..”
Junsu stares at Ri-In’s tears fell and fell. Next thing Junsu knew, he pulled Ri-In closed and covered with his.[/flashback] Junsu wiped away the now invisible tears from yesterday, then slowly traced her lips with his fingers. “Ri-In, I’m sorry..”
Ri-In stirred and groaned then started shifting around. Junsu quickly got up, but sat back down again when Ri-In settled in again. “Ri-In…?”
Ri-In shift a little closer to Junsu. “Ri-In…I’m sorry…”
“Junsuu…..”
“Sshh, sleep my beautiful, just sleep. Okay? I’ll be right here…
Midoyo…chonnune banhandanun marur midoyo…”
Jin Ae stared at Eun Ae and giggled. “Should we knock?” Jin Ae shook her head quickly and whispered back, “Noooo! Junsu oppa never sings like that anymore! I wanna listen a little bit more!” The two girls giggled and pressed their ears against the door and stood there.
“What in the world?” Jin Ae and Eun Ae quickly straighten up as they heard Mrs.Chu’s voice. “And what exactly are you two doing?!”
Jin Ae quickly push her fingers to her lips as Eun Ae pulled Mrs.Chu down to their level.
“Junsu oppa’s singing!” Mrs.Chu looked at the girls smiling faces and quickly pressed her ear against the door.
“Aish you girls!” Mrs.Chu got back up and straighten her suit, but smiled at them. “Be quiet today. Ri-In caught a cold last night so she’ll be in bed today. Do not bother her.”
The two girls nodded.
Mrs.Chu knocked on the door and opened it. Junsu looked up and saw Mrs.Chu walking in with Jin Ae and Eun Ae. Jin Ae quickly came over and wrapped her arms around Junsu. Junsu smiled and placed a kiss on her forehead.
“Alright Junsu, breakfast’s ready. Go eat. I’ll watch her now.”
Junsu slowly nodded his head and got up.
“Mommy?”
“Yes baby?”
Junsu walked around his room and stared out the window to Ri-In’s cottage.
“Mommy, do you remember that one place?”
Junsu heard his mom laughed at the other end of the line.
“What place sweetheart? We’ve been to so many places.”
“Well, that place when I was little. And…I think we were staying there for the summer or something…and there was a lot of land..”
“Honey, we always spend summer somewhere else. And of course there was a lot of land honey.”
“And there was this wall of bamboo Mom…Mom? Hello?”
Junsu stared at his phone, making sure the call wasn’t lost.
“Mom?”
“I’m here. Why are you asking about that place?”
“Nothing…just had a dream about it. What’s that wall separating Mom?”
“Nothing! There’s absolutely nothing behind that wall dear. Just dirt and more dirt and rubbish-
“Mom, chill. I was just wondering... How’s Paris? How’s dad?”
Junsu listened as his Mom’s mood suddenly became calmer as she chatted on about her sights and his dad.
Junsu smiled as he hears his dad in the background yelling for her to hurry up because they were late for an event.
“Bye Mom. See you in three days.”
“Bye honey…and..don’t think about that place okay?”
“Why Mom?”
“Just don’t.”
“Yeah. Bye sweetie. We love you.”
“Bye.”
Junsu sigh and stare at the wall.
He picked up his phone again and dialed a number.
“What?”
“Changmin, I need you to look up a place for me.”

Readers, I’m sorryyyyy!!! Are you still here?!?! I’m so sorry. [tears]
School has been ACK, but guess what? Its Chirstmas break! A whole month off!!! I’ll try to write more often okay? And I’m sorry for the lack of grammar and spelling and…everything else. LOL. Spent 2 hours on this chapter…but here’s what I got. I know I know. I’ll work harder. Its 5 in the morning..guess I’ll grab some ZZZ now. Toodles!!
