I just quickly wrote this..

~2 Years Before~
“Do you have all your belongings?” Ri-In just nodded, and continued looking at her shoes.
Mrs. Park looked at Ri-In and sighed. “I’m sorry Ri-In. I wish I can keep you forever. But...policy is policy…Please give me that beautiful smile..na?”
Ri-In looked up and gave her a small smile. Mrs. Park smiled back and ring the doorbell to the enormous new house. Her new home.
“Whoooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiis iiiiiiiiiiiiiiittt??”
“Hello. This is Mrs. Park with Ri-In.”
Ri-In heard some whispering, then the gate clicked open. Ri-In stared at the gate, afraid to move. “Come on sweetie.” Mrs. Park nudges Ri-In forward, as the gate clicked shut behind them.

Ri-In stared at the small room that she now shared with two other girls. She carefully stack her bag of clothing into the closet and sat on the bed. As soon as they got in, Ms.Chu greeted them and got right down to businesses. Ms. Chu was the head of all the servants. She’s been serving the Kims for over 50 years. She went over where Ri-In would sleep, where she would help around and so on. As soon as Ms. Chu ended her talking, Mrs. Park had left. Ri-In wished she would stay longer, but she needed to get back to the orphanage.
Ri-In was still sitting there and day dreaming about the orphanage when she heard some giggles. She quickly got up and saw two teenage girls by the door. The older one stepped up and gave Ri-In a close look over.
“Are you Ri-In?” Ri-In quickly recognize the voice. She was the one that opened the gates.
Ri-In only nodded. The girl smiled and pulled the younger one closer. “I’m Eun Ae and this is my younger sister Jin Ae. We’ll be sleeping here together!” Ri-In smiled and walked over to the two girls.
“Nice to meet you.” She went behind Eun Ae and talked to Jin Ae. “How old are you?”
Eun Ae automatically respond, “Oh, Jin Ae don’t t-” “I’m 14.” Eun Ae quickly turned around and stared at Jin Ae. Ri-In smiled, “Really? You’re about the same age as one of my sisters..” “Where’s your sister?” Rin-In looked at the floor. “Luckily, she was adopted into a nice family that will love and give her anything she needs..” Jin Ae looked at Ri-In’s sad face and wrapped her arms around her. “I’ll be your little sister Unni.” Ri-In smiled and hugged Jin Ae back.
“Wow, that’s the most she talked in months.”
“Really? She seems fine to me.”
Eun Ae shrugged and sat on the bed. “Yeah, but Jin Ae has this thing where she speaks for like, a day, then stops for months. She only speaks to me.”
“Oh...I’m sorry.”
Eun Ae laughed. “Don’t be. I’m glad she likes you..”
“Eun Ae, how old are you?”
“I’m 16.”
“How long have you guys worked here?”
“My mom brought us when I was 3, and Jin Ae was 1. But she died when I was 10. Mrs. Kim decided to keep us instead of sending us to the orphanage.” Jin Ae perked up when she heard Mrs. Kim’s name. “Mrs. Kim is so kind! You’ll like her a lot Unni!! And Junsu oppa! He always bring me treats from his trips!” Ri-In slowly register the name. She hasn’t heard anyone mentioned that name in 13 years.
“Eun Ae!! What did I tell you? You three are still in here?” The three girls looked up and saw Ms. Chu at the door, breathing heavily. Eun Ae suddenly stood up. “Oh! I forgot!” “Aish, hurry!” Ms. Chu quickly left again. Ri-In looked at Eun Ae, who was now trying to dig through their closet. “Eun Ae, what’s going on?” Eun Ae looked back and smiled with all her teeth. “Junsu oppa had graduated and is flying home this instant. We all have to look nice and we’re preparing a party for him. Jin Ae! Come, we need to change!”
Junsu. He’s coming…home.
Ri-In quickly got up and started for the closet too.

It was half passed 6. All the guests have arrived, and all the food was cooked. Everything was in place, except the guest of honor, and his family. All the servant were to be outside, and greet the family as they arrived. Ri-In stand behind Eun Ae and Jin Ae, waiting nervously. She could hear all the excitement going through the servants. ‘Maybe he has changed,’ Ri-In thought to herself. The chatter dies down as headlights came up the drive way. Ri-In started at the car as it came to a stop in front of them all. As soon as the chauffer came around to open the door, all the servants bowed and welcome back the family.
Ri-In raised her head right in time to catch Junsu coming out of the car. Ri-In watches as he made his way out the car, and was greeted by a hug from Ms. Chu. Ri-In watches as he smiled and hug her tightly, then made his was around the elder servants. Jin Ae let quickly let go of Ri-In’s hand, and was about to make her way to Junsu, when another person stepped out of the car. Ri-In stared as the beautiful lady stepped out in a little black dress, and smiled at everyone. Everyone paused for a second and stared. Junsu pulled her into him, and wrapped his right arm around her small waist. “Everyone, this is Ha-Neul.”
Ha-Neul smiled her big white beautiful smile. “Hello hello. Nice to meet everyone. It’s such a pleasure to be here.” Jin Ae backed up until she bumped into Ri-In, and quickly grabbed her hand again. “Unni, I don’t like her.” Eun Ae turned and stared at Jin Ae. “I don’t either.” Ri-In shushd the two girls as Junsu and his girlfriend made their way up the stairs. When they reached Ri-In and the two girls, Junsu stopped, and stared at Jin Ae. “You didn’t say hi. Look at you, you’re so big now. I have something for you.” Junsu reached into his pocket and took out a photo. It was a photo of Junsu and Ha Neul.
“I don’t want it.”
“What?”
“I don’t want it! I don’t want it!!!” Jin Ae stared screaming and crying. Ri-In quickly pulled her away and tried to calmed her down, when Junsu stopped her. “Who are you? What have you done to Jin Ae?!” Ri-In just stared at Junsu, then went back to Jin Ae, who was being cheered up by Eun Ae. Junsu grabbed her shoulder harder and shook her attention back to him. “Listen to me when I’m talking to you.”
“Junsu! Stopped it! What has happened to you?!”
“Mom, who is this? Why is she here?!” Mrs. Kim sighed and went up to Ri-In. “Ri-in, are you hurt? I’m sorry for his actions. I guess Junsu is still tired from the plane ride.” Ri-In only nodded. Mrs. Kim went off and tried talking to Jin Ae. Junsu stared at Ri-In and smiled. “You’re that orphan. The one nobody wants. That’s why you’re here.” Ri-In stared at Junsu, and forced on a smile. “Hello. I’m Ri-In. Pleasure to meet you Junsu.” “That’s Master Kim to you.” And with that, he grabbed Ha Neul and up the stairs they went.

Junsu turned off his car and made his way out. The party has ended long ago, and he had just dropped off Ha-Neul at home. He was humming ‘My Little Princess' as he walked to the main door, but quickly stopped when something flickered to his right. Junsu stopped and tried to make out what it was, since it was too dark to tell. Junsu went closer, and noticed that it was Ri-In, in her night gown, holding a candle. She stared at the sky for a moment with her eyes closed, then blew out the candle. She then made her way back into the little cottage. [Junsu's thought]‘What a weird girl.’[/Junsu's thought] Junsu shrugged and went inside.

Ri-In closed her eyes as she turned her face upward towards the darkening night. She made a quick wish, and blew out the candle in her hands. “Happy 18th Birthday Ri-In.”
She then grabbed the skirts of her night gown and went back inside the cottage, careful not to wake up Eun Ae and Jin Ae.
