I haven't seen a sunrise in over ten years I wish I could but, direct sunlight causes me to blackout. so I adapted when the sun is the brightest during the day I sleep and I wake at night.I usally go to the forest near town, most of the town is afraid of it they call it the dark or demon forest. "hello what are you doing here? demons live in that forest." the boy said I couldn't help but notice his large sunglasses

"I know." I said using the shadows of the trees to teleport

"Another daeva? I thought i was the only one around here.My name is Jay." he said removing his sunglasses revealing the same gold eyes as mine

"my Mom is human. my name is Hongbin nice to meet you."

"likewise. okay Hongbin come stay the night at my house."

"where do you live?" I asked Jay

"I told you demons live in the forest. are you coming?"

"but my stuff..."

"you can live without it for one night. how old are you?"

"I'm ninteen. how old are you?"

"Okay. are you the only one who lives in the forest?"

"demons.plural.  If your going to fit in you need to learn. we call this forest by a different name, Silver Hill. alot of people have lived here for generations." Jay said as we went further into the forest.

"Hey Jay, who is this?"

"Hongbin meet Aimee she runs the market that is open every weekend."

"we can but we have to have sunglasses on and can't stay in direct sun for very long or..."
