CHAPTER 2

Sooyeon’s POV

I can’t believe my ears. The next client is.. Nichkhun?!

“Nichkhun is depressed?!” I exclaimed.

“Apparently yes. He can’t get over the fact that he lost Tiffany. Omg everybody who loves Tiffany gets depressed! Is Tiffany a kind of virus for depression?” LT joked.

I let out a dry laugh. Not funny.

“So now what? How do we cure him?” I asked.

“Well, since you do not want to exchange souls anymore.. I shall do it myself!” LT announced.

“What?!”

“It is cool to be a Thai prince anyway.” LT smiled.

“Well, apparently Thai people think Taeyeon is the real Thai prince now. It is even trending on twitter.”

“Really?! Then what is Nichkhun now?”

“A Thai?”

“No fun! Now I lost my royal status.” LT pouted.

I smiled.

“Anyway.. I think it is better if I exchange souls with Nichkhun. I am more familiar with him anyway.”

“Really?!” LT’s eyes sparkled.

“But I have a request.”

“Shoot.”

“I want 3X more salary.”

“What?!”

“I saw this advertisement on newspaper on a Hawaii tour, and I really want to go, so..” I explained.

“Alright alright. If the mission is a success, you will get triple, deal?”

“Deal!”

So.. I became Nichkhun. And my first mission is to go Thailand and visit my “family”. By the way, Taeyeon is on the plane too!

“Taeyeon!” I greeted her enthusiastically.

“Hi Nichkhun ssi.” She gave me an awkward smile.

Ahh.. this Khunfany thing must be giving her lots of unnecessary attention.

I sat beside her and smiled.

“Erm Nichkhun ssi, this is my manager’s seat.”

“I know. I exchanged seats with him. I wanted to chat with you.”

“Ohh.. well if it is about Tiffany, I don’t think it’s a good time for us to talk about her.. especially when we are supposedly in this love triangle..” Taeyeon rambled.

“What if it is about Park Sooyeon?”

“Park Sooyeon?”

“I am Park Sooyeon.” I leaned in and whispered into her ear.

Taeyeon’s eye widened. I gave her a smirk.

“How can it be? Wait.. Nichkhun is depressed?!” Taeyeon whispered back.

I nodded.

“Oh god.. and Tiffany is planning for revenge..”

Revenge?!

“Why would she?” I asked.

“Well, he revealed the relationship without consulting her. I thought it was kind of weird as it isn’t his style to make rash decisions.. I guess his depression affected his decision making.” Taeyeon commented.

“Yes, like someone who rammed her car into a wall..”

“Yah!” Taeyeon pushed me.

“Just kidding.” I smiled.

Manager oppa sitting in front gave us a weird look. Oh ya, Taeyeon and Nichkhun are supposed to be awkward.

Taeyeon and I acted like strangers when we walked out of the airport. She stuffed a note into my pocket before leaving.

“Contact me if you need help.”

So sweet! No wonder she is my idol. <3

After smiling to some annoying fangirls, I flagged down a cab and went “home”.

Jessica’s POV

I wonder what Taengoo is doing now.. I just saw the fancam of her walking out of the airport. I am proud but jealous too; those fangirls are just crazy for her!

Suddenly my phone vibrated. A message from.. Taecyeon?

“Hey Jessica, long time no see! Do you want to have a meal with me?”

Hmm.. I do miss him too. We are good friends after all. But this timing is pretty sensitive.

“Taec, I wish to, but as you know this timing is pretty awkward.”

“Ohh ya, I forgot lol. Nevermind, next time then. J”

“Thanks buddy.”

I put down my phone and prepared to sleep, but suddenly someone knocked the door.

“Sica? You awake?”

It's Yuri.

“I am still awake. Come in.”

Yuri came in with a smile.

“What’s the matter? I asked.

“I just have things to clear from my mind. I wanted to talk to Tiffany, but I think she is even more stressed than I am.” Yuri sat down on my bed.

“What’s stressing our black pearl?” I asked.

“Just insecure. After so many dating scandals, I am scared that SNSD cannot make it..”

“Yul, we can. Sones will not leave us.” I assured her.

“I know, but there are so many girl groups out there, younger, cuter, prettier..” Yuri sighed.

“Well, but you have something that those girl groups don’t have.”

“What is it?”

“The handsome trait. You know girls are crazy over you, Yul oppa.” I teased.

“You think I look handsome?”

“Of course. The suit concept suits you.”

“More than Taeyeon?”

“Well, Taengoo may be tiny, but she’s mesmerizing.” I smiled.

Yuri smiled. But I saw a hint of disappointment in her eyes.

“Alright shan’t disturb you further. Good night.” Yuri stood up, but I grabbed her wrist.

“Yul, I just want to say, we are friends. You can always count on me.”

Yuri turned around and smiled.

“You can count on me too, Sica.”

Taeyeon’s POV

Wow I feel like a princess here! Ok maybe a “prince” hahaha. Sorry Nichkhun, I think I just replaced you somehow. Hmm should I call Sica? But it’s so late now, she’s probably asleep.

I got ready for bed too, but someone knocked at my door. I opened the door and saw a cute girl standing outside.

“Hi, I am your CF partner, Janhae.” The girl smiled.

Omg her eye smile is cute! And she resembles IU!

“Ohh hi! I am Taeyeon.”

“I know..” She blushed. “Taeyeon unnie? Just want to ask if you want to have breakfast with me tomorrow? I can bring you to eat some authentic delicious Thai food.”

“Really? Thanks! That would be great!”

Then she suddenly leaned forward and whispered into my ear.

“I shall see you tomorrow then.” She smiled.

“Okay..” I stammered. We practically had zero distance just now!

Then Janhae gave me a wink and went off. I took a glance at her .. looks firm.. AHH what the hell am I thinking? I should go sleep now.
