Hey everyone! DG again with a new story! Aish, this story came to me a few months ago when I found out my high school's musical for the year was going to be Hairspray! And I'm actually a candidate to play Tracy Turnblad, but that's another story...

So it actually came as what my best friend and I like to call a "shower revelation"...I was thinking in the shower one day "You know, Tae-Il would sound amazing if he sang 'Run and Tell That' in Hairspray...OH. MY. GOD...sun" XD

The rest just kinda fell into place. I know some of the ages of the actual idols don't match up...HOWEVER. I kind of placed the idols in parts based on their vocals and what I could visualize in the long run. So when I get the time I will be able to update this story~

So without further adew, here's the cast of "Hairspray...The Kpop Way!" ♥

Piggy Dolls' Park Ji Eun as Tracy Turnblad...a girl with big hair, a big heart, and even bigger aspirations. She wants to prove that being overweight means nothing when you have big dreams and lots of talent.

f(x)'s Choi Sulli as Penny Pingleton...best friends with Ji Eun. Although she falls in love with someone who she "isn't supposed to", she has just as big a heart as her best friend and has a good sense of morality and justice.

Secret's Ji Eun as Amber von Tussle...more than Ji Eun's rival based on their names. Ji Eun is beautiful and she knows it, and will stop at nothing to see her rival fail.

Bi Rain as Link Larkin...teenage heartthrob and crush of Ji Eun. A bit shallow and self-centered, there's no denying this boy's musical talents. He eventually falls in love with Ji Eun, ignoring all odds against it.

Block B's Tae-Il as Seaweed...a boy with just as many dreams as Ji Eun and with an even stronger sense of equality. Befriends Ji Eun and falls for her best friend, Sulli. He loves singing and wishes to beat all odds for love.

Big Bang's TOP as Edna Turnblad...Ji Eun's world weary mother who wants to protect her daughter. While reluctant to let her daughter live out her dream, she admires her courage and slowly begins to follow her lead.

SHINee's Onew as Wilbur Turnblad...Ji Eun's father who is always willing to give his daughter what she wants, even if it means fame. He loves to joke around, but sometimes it can get him into a bit of trouble.

2NE1's Park Bom as Motormouth Maybelle...Tae-Il's mother and DJ extraordinare. She doesn't let the world stop her and is incredibly confident. Watches after her children with an iron fist and a loving heart.

U-Kiss's Kevin as Corny Collins...host of the Woo Kevin Woo Show. He wants everyone to be treated equally, and admires Ji Eun for her talent and positivity.

SNSD's Jessica as Velma von Tussle...Ji Eun's mother who wants her daughter to be the center of attention. She will often make herself look better by flattering herself, and wants to destroy Ji Eun from the inside out.

Minor Characters:

Super Junior's Siwon as Sulli's father...An overbearing man who is incredibly religious. Wants his daughter to stay as far away from Tae-Il as possible. Friends with Ji Eun's parents.

Chocolat's Melanie as Little Inez...Tae-Il's little sister who loves to sing and dance like Ji Eun. She admires Ji Eun and wants to be the first mixed race main dancer on television.
