But in my dreams, you are my lover. I would embrace you, I would kiss you and make love to you.

In my dreams, I would say the words of love so easily, again and again because it is the word best describing how I feel about you.

But in reality, although we could talk endlessly about everything and nothing, the word love would be impossible for me to say.

In reality, we could never make it. Out here, there are way too many variables to consider—just thinking about it has made me lose the will to try.

But in my dreams, you would be mine and we would last forever.

In my dreams, I would claim you and keep it as such, and no one would dare to object us.

But in reality, we never stood a chance. I could only watch you from my safe place, so close and yet so far.
