"Introduction Chapter" 

          Boring , Quiet , Emo , Loner . . . That's how you can describe me . At the age of 17 , Im 
not the usual kind of girl who should enjoy herself and find some BOYFRIEND to go out with . 
Instead I engaged myself not to have relationships yet . I have no friends but I guess books are 
way better than Friends who might talk about you when you turn away . 

         Im an only child . My parents died when I was young . Cliche' story right? Well , I live with my 
Aunt right now and she's an abusive one . She smokes , take drugs and play with a man she desires . 
That's why I often lock myself in my room and go out to get some food without her noticing me . Well 
she's always on the couch asleep and drunk after the night she went by a club . 

       I recieved a scholarship from this school called "BANG HIGH" 2 years ago before I enter a 
public school . I signed all the documents because I don't want my aunt to get involve with this . She 
has so much problem in life to add this . Well those 2 years went GREAT AND EASY . 

     I eat by myself at lunch and read books silently ALONE in the library . Everything was perfectly 
peaceful! Until that night . November 14 , Tuesday Night . I was walking by a street and saw a guy 
losing lots of his blood . And by that . . . Me acting like a superhero . MY LIFE CHANGED .  

My quiet and peaceful life changed into a DISASTER. 

"Wake up ! Ya . . . Do you wanna die? Stand up! Your way too heavy 
for me to carry you in the hospital!" I tapped his face to wake him up . His in between 
life and death . I don't know what to do . 

He's not waking up! I pulled out my phone from my pocket and called 
for an ambulance . What can I do ? Until the ambulance come! I checked his phone 
but it has a password . This guy really! Urgh! . 

After a few minutes finally the ambulance arrive! Thank Goodness . His losing lots of 
blood . I don't wanna get involve with this and decided not to hop in the ambulance but I 
saw his sight of fighting death . I hoped in and held his hand while the nurses inside gives him 
First Aid . . . 

I lost my parents at the young age . . . And saw them died before my eyes and I don't want 
anything like that to happen again . Right BEFORE my eyes . Even this guy is a STRANGER! 

We arrived at the hospital in no time . They rushed him in the emergency room . 
I sat at the lobby's chairs and waited for a result . When the same nurse in the ambulance 
approached me "What is your blood type Miss?" She asked . 


"Im type O , Is there something wrong , How is he?" I don't know what's wrong with me but 
Im barely worried about this man . "We need you to donate some blood . For him to survive" 
She said "Then do it now . . . " I tered . 


She made me wore the hospital's dress . Soon , A cord that is connected to him was connected 
to me . I was very nervous . Im scared of needle plus . . This is my first time donating some blood . 
I don't know what the after effects might be . 


After 15 Minutes of transferring some of my blood to this stranger . They made my stay 
in my laying position for another 30 Minutes . Because I might feel dizzy . They said . 
I closed my eyes and prayed for this stranger to not experience the same death thing my parents 
did . . . 


Someone was shrugging me . I guess I slept . They told me the room where the stranger was 
I was thinking twice if I should go check him or not . I was about to step out of the hospital when 
my conscience bug me . "Arasso . I'll go check him!" I told myself as I rushed to the elevator and 
clicked the 7th Floor . 


"They said it's room #207 . Oh here it is!" I went inside without knocking because Im 
sure this guy ain't awake yet . And I was right . I placed my backpack on the empty chair of the 
room . It's spacious I could say . I opened the curtains after all there is no sunlight . 


"E...Eomma" I heard him talk . I quickly looked back to check if he was awake . He was 
flickering his eyes and scanned the whole room . "Where am I ? Who are you ?" He looked at 
me confusingly . "Im a stranger . I saw you on the street laying down and yeah . . . called the 
ambulance for you to live on" I muttered and was about to leave when . . . 


"Can you help me call my FRIENDS ?" He plead . I nodded "I guess so . " I took his phone on 
the small table beside his bed . "What's your password ?" I asked "Alion" Unique type of 
choosing a password huh . An alien and lion probably ? "What's your friend's name ?" 

"Rapmon " He replied with just a word . I searched for the name Rapmon and dialed it. 
Ring Ring Ring is all I could here . The other line is not answering . I was about to put it down 
when "Hello" A voice from the other line talked . "Oh Annyeong Haseyo~ Is this um .... Rapmon? 
Your friend is in the Hospital near . . . Seoul District . Would you mind coming?" "Of course I do!" 
He said and hunged up. 


I frowned and placed the phone down the table again as I grab my bag . "Where are you 
going?" "Going home of course" . I muttered 


"No you can't leave until my friends arrive" He ordered . Without my concious . I placed my 
bag down beside the chair and I sat . Looking at the clock then to the stranger and alternate . 
"Kim TaeHyung are you okay!" Bunch of guys came in of the room . "V Hyung! You made us 
worry what's with you!" 


"Im fine . . . She saved my life" She said pointing into me . My eyes widen as the bunch of 
guys looked at me . Wait . . . They are familiar . . . Have I seen them somewhere? Oh well . . . 
My imagination might be . 


"Thank You for saving hyung's li-- Wait . . . Your Choi EunHee from Class A 
Right?" The guy with white scarf on his head asked . I nodded as they nodded as well . 


"How did this girl save you anyway?" A chic young guy asked . Is he mocking me? Or what. 
"He found me on the streets and . . . I guess she was the one who donated blood for me" How 
did he know that? He was asleep . . . 


"Is it true that your the one who donated blood for him ?" It's the familiar voice over the 
phone awhile ago who asked me "mmm..." I hummed a yes . "Thank You so much!" They all 
bowed politely in front of me . Except for that chic young looking guy . 


I guess he don't like my guts.  "I need to leave . I guess . . . Umm . . . My aunt is looking for me 
now" I lied as I flashed a small smile. When will my aunt look for me anyway? I was about to 
open the door when "How can I thank you?" The stranger asked. "No need to thank me . 
Live your life to the fullest is enough ! " I smiled and waved goodbye.

       It's 9:00 pm in the evening .  When I opened our apartment's door . Mess was all around. 
Hey! I just clean this mess early in the morning . I guess I should stop caring about this place 
and focus on my small yet spacious room . My aunt was again laying down the couch drunk . I 
picked up the bottles of soju in the floor and placed it on the sink . 


I don't really understand my aunt . She's just 27 To be honest . . . She became like that when 
my mom died (Her sister) and started blaming me that I was the reason why! But I guess there's 
more much into it . That's why she's very mad at me . I sighed and threw my bag on my bed . 


I went inside the bathroom and washed my face . I looked at myself in the mirror . "Mom . . . 
Why was I made to be such your photocopy . . . I hate looking at the mirror because it makes me 
miss you so bad " I used the towel to dry my face . 


I went to get my textbooks and do my assignments . It's 10:00 in the evening now . While I 
was doing my assignments . I can't help myself but to worry about that Stranger . I shook my 
head and focus on my physics assignment . . . After hours of finishing it . It's already 1:00am . 
I yawned and threw myself on bed. 


Before I close my eyes "Take care of that Stranger , God" I prayed . And sooner or later I was 
put into sleep . Dreaming about me with mom & dad . The old days ...... 
 

I woke up by the sunlight's reflection that pass through my window's curtains . I yawned 
and streched my arms . I jumped out of bed and prepared myself for school . I don't eat at home. 
It's gross to eat in a messy place right? I passed by my drunk aunt as I made my way out of the 
house . 

I walk my way to the bus stop . I waited for 10 Minutes before the bus came . I hoped in, 
swiped my wallet and looked for a window seat . I liked sitting here . Seeing those people with 
friends on their way to school . Im not jealous or I don't envy them . But I guess having a FRIEND 
is surely enough . You can tell them your secrets . . . But again they may betray you . 

The bus stop near my school's gate . So I need to walk more steps before I arrive at the 
school's gate . When I enter the school . My first step , I heard whispers and murmurs while 
they were checking me out and looking at their handphones. 


What's wrong? Am I discovered by some famous company and posted it online. OH! That 
can't be -,- ' I ignore them as I reach my classroom . I slid the door and as I went near my seat. 
STICKY NOTES WERE EVERYWHERE AROUND MY TABLE .  


I sat down and placed my bag beside my table wondering where or whom it's from . I tried 
to read few of those written and everyone's eyes was on me . they're not even blinking for a second. 
When someone bang the door "Is Choi EunHee here yet ?" . 
 

This is the INTRODUCTION CHAPTER !
