Yoongi reluctantly turned around at the sound of Jimin squealing. He knew the over excited sound of the younger could mean nothing good. Not for him, at least.

He spotted the mewing box before he even looked at the boy and knew today - and probably the next few days - was going to be tough. He spotted an all black kitten with green eyes and almost broke then but knew he was too lazy for the care of a cat. How was he going to take care of a whole box of them and Jimin?

“Please don’t ask,” he groaned.

“But hyung-,” Jimin pouted up from where he was already kneeling and playing with multiple kittens. The “Please Adopt Us” sign already discarded, thrown a few feet away.

“No,” he said before he continued though he knew he was just delaying things. He could never resist Jimin. He briefly wondered what that would mean for him in the future before continuing. “Let’s go.”

He watched and sighed as Jimin stood up while holding the box.

“How many kittens are in there anyway?”

Jimin shrugged and took the lead back to their apartment. Yoongi looked back at the sign wistfully and regretted asking Jimin to spend time with him at all today.
