After school I'm following Soojung to her house, notebook in hand, ready to note down anything that I notice about her.

The sun's shining brighter than usual today, which ironically makes the shadows grow darker and bigger.

Maybe one day I can become bright like the sun, too and get you to notice me.

But how exactly do you turn darkness into light?

The more light there is, the more darkness there is.

But what if the light was to suddenly disappear?

Wouldn't the darkness disappear with it?

So if the darkness disappears with the light, wouldn't they exist together in a parallel universe?

All of a sudden Soojung starts walking faster so I start running, too.

Does she know that I'm following her?

What am I supposed to do?

I have nowhere to hide.

Suddenly I hear her sighing loudly.

Why is she sighing?

What's wrong?

Is she stressed, sad or angry?

I should've noticed that, though.

She turns around and looks me dead in the eye.
