Kwon Jiyong. Dong Youngbae. Choi Seunghyun. Kang Daesung. Lee Seunghyun. Five names whose meanings affect me in so many different ways, words cannot even describe. Having come to know these five men has changed my life in unimaginable ways. Not only have they taught me to enjoy what I love, but they've also taught me strength and courage. Never give up, never lose hope, and smile. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Big Bang.

When they debuted, they weren't the typical pretty boy idols. But they didn't care. They did the things they loved and the way they wanted. They fought to the top and they truly deserve to be there. As a V.I.P, I've come to learn about their pasts and how hard they worked in order to just debut. Watching their documentary, it touched me to see how dedicated and determined they were to work towards a dream that they didn't even know would pay off. They trained and trained day in and day out, knowing that in the end, their spot in the group was not promised. But these five succeeded. They showed that their passion surpassed all expectations and now, these kings are acknowedged for their brilliance.

Knowing the difficult time they recently faced, not matter how much I wanted to just have a small glimpse of their faces, I hoped I wouldn't. I only wanted to see them when they were all fully recovered from the tragedy, and as five. I am extremely grateful that the healing process is going well. I can only hope to see them soon. Big Bang is only whole as five, and that's the way it will be forever.

As a devoted fan touched by their sincerity and passion, with the background knowledge I've learned over the years I've spent as a fan,  I've written a short piece in the perspective of the one who worked the hardest amongst the five. The one who was thrown criticism after criticism endlessly, but rose to shine as the most brilliant star; our forever leader: Kwon Jiyong.
