One minute Junhyung was in one of the most awkward situation that has ever happened to him in his life so far the next thing he knows he’s carrying a kid who was lost without his teacher and classmates.
‘Out of all days for this to happen to me, it just had to be a Saturday. My favourite day at that’ he murmured to himself.
Shoulder’s drooping low as he continued to walk throughout the vibrant happy atmosphere of the zoo; it was already bad enough that he completely sticks out from the crowd. Given that he was wearing one of his best suits.

He looked down beside him as he saw the timid child falling behind his steps; gradually he waited for the youngest till he was by his side until he bent down and he looked at the boy from an eye to eye level. 

“Hey, does your knee still hurt?” observed Junhyung with concern showing on his face.
 “i-it hurts a little a bit” he replied quietly as he fumbled with the sleeves of his jumper.
‘That was a nasty fall before and surely his knee must be hurting pretty bad right now’,
“If you want hyung can give you a piggyback ride for the mean time” he offered while nervously scratching the back of his head, since Junhyung wasn’t really good at interacting with kids.

 “Are y-you sure hyung I really don’t mind walking and I don’t want to be a burden-“,
“Dongwoon-ah, you aren’t being a burden to me. Also its best for you to not put any pressure on your knee, so hop on my back and  we can go tour together around the zoo while also being on a look out for your class” encouraged Junhyung as he showed him a gentle smile. With Dongwoon on his back, they both proceeded to tour through the zoo.
Junhyung began to reminisce on from how this all even began.

He somehow knew something bad was going to happen from the very beginning he accidentally dropped his glass in attempt to get his morning routine done within five minutes max; after all he was already twenty five minutes late for his meeting.
After successfully dodging a painful bullet of being reprimanded by his superiors for being late fortunately he had managed to please the clients despite his late unprofessionalism timing.

With that over and done with, throughout his morning one of his close childhood friends had texted him to not forget about his ‘blind date’. Junhyung groaned as he brought both palms of his hands to cover his face before slightly slouching down his chair in agony. He honestly hoped that his so called blind date would be forgotten but sadly not. 

He was always the type of person to get focused straight on and get everything done as soon as possible, which had always left him with no time to hang out with his co-workers or even go on dates.
So with the persistent encouragement for Junhyung to actually get his head out of work and to be more sociable he finally gave in. Just so they can stop bothering the heck out of him so he can go back to his usual get work done routine.

But things had only started to become unfortunate. With no time to change into smart casual clothes, he had rushed over wearing his suit from work bringing along a bouquet of flower. After all Junhyung is a gentleman with common courtesy, fifteen minutes into the date he was actually starting to like this surprise blind date. She was a year younger than him, currently working as a photographer and her hobbies included watching movies, playing guitar, and sometimes composing her own songs.

But as soon as everything was going good, apparently her ‘ex-boyfriend’ had literally busted through the door of the cafe. As he came crashing down to his knees while shamelessly begging for her to take him back along with intense lines of cringe worthy cliché phrases that can bring any soap drama down to shame.
However instead of the thought of his date shunning him and telling him to man up and stop embarrassing himself. She had suddenly started bawl and leapt into his arms as they both clutched tightly to each other spluttering apologies to one another before they left hand in hand out the cafe. 

For a moment Junhyung asked himself ‘Is this actually real life?’ realizing that the rest of the people in the cafe happened to witness the scene were staring at Junhyung with sympathy. He quickly recollected his composure despite the tip of his ears turning pink from the attention; he quietly muttered an apology and hastily left the cafe not wanting to stay in the tense atmosphere anymore. 

Shoving his hands in the pockets of his blazer Junhyung decided that he’ll head home to where his bed will always welcome him. Upset and annoyed that he had to go through all this today, with bitter thoughts overflowing in his head he started to walk faster ignoring his surroundings around him.

Without warning he had bumped into someone, more importantly a child.
In a panic he quickly rushed towards the kid and quickly inspected him making sure he didn’t have any injuries, “a-are you okay kid? Are you hurt anywhere, oh god, I’m so sorry. Oh crap I should’ve been watching where I was going. I mean no w-wait I didn’t mean to say crap I meant um, cra-carp! Ye-eah you know like the fish carp that’s what I meant”. 

The child hesitantly stood up and quickly started bowing in apology, “a-ah no it’s my fault, I-I got separated from my class and now I bumped into you, i’m s-sorry I didn’t mean it really”.

Smiling softly at the younger’s cuteness Junhyung gently petted the boy’s soft hair,”it’s my fault honestly, so in return let me help you reunite with your class instead of you going off by yourself.”

“That would help a lot th-thank you, hyung!” he spoke softly whilst looking up to Junhyung.

Immediately the elder was flushed with sudden shyness at being called hyung, “it’s a-alright, by the way would you mind telling me your name.”

“My name is Son Dongwoon”.

“Nice to meet you Dongwoon, my name is yong Junhyung”.

Snapping back to reality, he was still touring around whilst searching for Dongwoon’s class.  All while trying to push back the bitter thoughts of what had happened to him so far He honestly didn’t know what else can go wrong today, from the unlucky date to this.

 Silently sulking he readjusted his hold onto the younger kid; at least he was decently behaved compared to the other children these days which made him rethink of ever having kids of his own.

Looking upon the child’s face Junhyung’s eyes followed the boy’s line of sight which landed upon a koala with her baby resting comfortably on its mothers back.

“hyung, did you know that koala’s love to eat leaves from a, um, euca-lyp-tus tree”, Junhyung then turned to face the boy.

“Did you also know that a baby koala is called a ‘Joey ’?” he replied.

 “Whoa I didn’t know that they had such a cool name!” the youngest exclaimed in awe. Junhyung chuckled in response to his reaction Perhaps today won’t be that bad after all.

“HEY LOOK ITS WOONIE!”

Junhyung and dongwoon turned around to the source of loud voice, that had came from a another child but around dongwoons age. Except this loud child was sporting black messy hair with his uniform covered in patches of dirt.But for some reason something about this boy had annoyed Junhyung already.

“dongwoon? Oh my god, we finally found you!” 

Turning his attention to another new voice, out of nowhere junhyung had instantly wanted to hear more of this person’s voice. Wait it’s not like he liked the voice or anything but more like he wanted to know who it belonged to and maybe know more about the person too.
‘Wait what am I even thinking about?’ He muttered confusingly to himself.

“hyung, can you let me down please?” whispered dongwoon

“y-yeah of course”.  

When Dongwoon was finally standing on the ground, straight away he was enveloped in a hug by a shorted boy with a crescent eye smile.

“Dongwoonie! I’m so sorry; I didn’t mean to leave you behind like that it’s my entire fault that you got lost.” The boy cried as he hugged Dongwoon even tighter.

“kikwang hyung, it’s okay look I’m fine really!”

At this moment the same voice belonging to the previous person before stepped in.

“I’m honestly glad that you had found Dongwoon and I’m really thankful that you’ve been taking care of him. As you may know I’m Dongwoon’s teacher, so I’m mainly responsible for the fact that I haven’t kept a good eye on him” he informed while bowing his head slightly.

“I-it’s no problem honestly, Dongwoon was well behaved and calm the entire time I was with him plus don’t be so harsh on yourself I wouldn’t blame you since there are a lot of people here today so it is kind of possible to lose one of your students” Junhyung reassured the teacher.

“Ah I realised I haven’t introduced myself properly my name is Jang Hyunseung and I’m twenty five”

“I guess you’re my hyung then, my name is Yong Junhyung and I’m a year younger than you are. Have to say you’re pretty young to be a teacher I-I mean it’s just that most teachers i’ve met are in either their late 30’s or 40’s”

Hyunseung let out a soft chuckle, “I appreciate the compliment, um I don’t mean to be nosy but why are you wearing a suit in the zoo?”

“Aha, um long story short I was set up for a blind date at the cafe and well it didn’t go too well and I didn’t really had much time to change out of my work suit” he answered while turning his attention to the bundle of kids who had huddled up together like penguins as they all talked to each other animatedly.
 

“Oh. I see I’m so-“

“SEUNGIE  HYUNG THAT GUY IS A LIAR I BET HE WAS ACTUALLY TRYING TO KIDNAP DONGWOONIE” The loudest child in the group interrupted.

“Doojoon! Please don’t shout in public and wh-“

“But seungie hyung, Doojoon hyung is right! He’s probably an um, FBI agent” accused the boy with the cute nose.

“Yoseob why do you think he’s an FBI agent?”

“Because who wears a suit to the zoo? Plus just look at his scary face”

“This is getting ridiculous; Junhyung isn’t an FBI agent who came to kidnap Dongwoon. Also we should be thanking him instead of accusing him of such stuff by his appearance” Hyunseung scolded.

In between the commotion Junhyung was once again flustered with the situation not knowing what to say to make things better.

"But seungie hyung, his scary face says it all and it’s surely a face of an FBI agent” whined Doojoon as he was desperately trying to convince Hyunseung

“for all we know he could be wearing a disguise like that wig he is wearing!” yoseob boasted loudly.

Soon loud laughter erupted from Kikwang as he still was holding dongwoon, including hyunseung also who couldn’t help but laugh at such a silly claim. While watching hyunseung laugh, before Junhyung knew it he was instantly captured by such a sight that he couldn’t help but thought that his laughter sounded like music to his ears.
On the other hand Doojoon saw how he looked at his hyung and once again misinterpreted what was going on.

“LOOK AT HIS FACE, NOW HE’S PLANNING TO TAKE AWAY SEUNGIE HYUNG. I CAN TELL BY HIS EVIL BLACK EYES” declared doojoon as he bravely stood in front of hyunseung.

“I WILL NEVER LET YOU TAKE SEUNGIE HYUNG AWAY” Yoseob claimed as right away he latched himself onto hyunseung’s left leg while attempting to glare at Junhyung.

‘This is really getting out of hand right now, maybe I should just play along ‘. Clearing his throat, “ah , you kids have realised my true identity and I could’ve gotten away with it too!”
He countered as tried to muster up the evilest face he could.

“WE KNEW IT!” “YEAH YOU EVIL POOP HEAD!” both doojoon and yoseob insulted junhyung.

Dongwoon who couldn’t stand it anymore escaped kikwang’s hug and ran in front of Junhyung. “P-please believe me! Junhyung hyung is really nice he taught me stuff about the animals and h-he even gave me a piggyback ride. So please give Hyung a chance!” Pleaded Dongwoon in Junhyungs defence.

“I agree with dongwoonie, maybe he is actually a good guy and we should give him a chance. Since everyone deserves a second chance, right?”

Hyunseung sighs, “kikwang is right, I think it’s best that you guys apologize to junhyung hyung now”.

“We’re sorry.” Doojoon and yoseob reluctantly apologised to junhyung.

“I’m also sorry that we took up most of you time, also thanks again for taking care of dongwoon. We’ll be taking our leave now; I hope we can meet again sometime soon!”
Before Junhyung can even reply Hyunseung had already ushered the kids into holding hands with their partners and making sure that he had everyone this time.

Junhyung stared at the back of Hyunseung’s head, maybe hoping that he would look back at him once more. But before he could turn around to walk the opposite away something had attached to itself to his leg.

“Hyung! Thank you again and I really do hope we can meet again soon!”

Junhyung smiled as he ruffled dongwoons hair, “No problem, and maybe we will meet again”. Hugging Dongwoon one last time before he ran off towards kikwang he waited for him, as both kikwang and dongwoon looked back and waved once more before catching up to the rest of the class.

As he walked along something had caught his attention by the corner of his eye, picking the objects up it turned out to be a wallet. Opening the wallet, Junhyung instantly smiled once again.

“Maybe we will meet sooner than I thought”

 

oh my god I was meant to post this earlier on today but I got carried away singing along to disney songs.
I'm positive there are hella ton of mistakes so when I'm proper awake I'll go back over them.
